  • Well this has come out of nowhere No lead single or anything? Does she think she's Taylor?!

Oh wow those are some BRUTAL lyrics! I can't remember the last time anyone spilled so much tea on one album!

If I'm being honest I wasn't totally blown away on first listen but I will give it a second spin soon and see if it clicks more (it probably will).

I have seen a tweet saying it is the British version of Beyonce's Lemonade album lol I think that's the last big revenge-lover album I can think of?

Gave this a listen last night. It was… fine. Think I’ll need to revisit again and I will coz I do like the album, but idk… it all felt a little samey to me on initial listen so I just need time with it I think. We’ll see.

Pussy Palace, Relapse and Beg For Me were my immediate standouts.

Glad im not the only one that thought it sounded samey and usually love lily, could be another that takes time for me, a lot of albums have taken a few listens to click so far this year

Fantastic album as I knew it would be! Not sure what my fave song is yet but Tennis to Madeline is iconic!

The more I listen and digest this project, the more its brilliance reveals itself — even down to the title. David clearly had an issue with her working in his field on the West End. The album itself unfolds like a West End play, and obviously, the West End is synonymous with London and Britain — something she gave up for him. The whole record feels like her reclaiming herself and her voice in every sense. It's impressive, especially after almost a decade away from music.

'Relapse' and 'Pussy Palace' are my immediate favourites, but everything feels important here.

Those numbers are amazing!!! I just wish she had a full physical release too because I’m sure she’d get a top 3 album.

Those streaming figures are so good!! I really didn’t think she’d have that sort of following so I am pleasantly surprised!

Still need to listen to it again, but I’ve got some time tonight to listen and digest I think so will try and fit it in.

Just dawned on me that Lily did this well even with 10 Dave tracks above her! If only she'd surprise released last week instead! Omg.

This is my third favourite album of the year behind Gaga and Jade.

The way the story unfolds with each song is insanely good.

She deserves all the success with this! The Brits is calling!!
