October 31, 2025Oct 31 If Now decide to include Lily Allen on Now 123, they’ll most likely include Madeline now it’s been playlisted by radio 1 and skip Pussy Palace especially with the title of the latter being deemed too rude for a family friendly compilation

October 31, 2025Oct 31 Radio 1 did support No Shame, and her influence is very much present among younger artists that they continue to support like Lola Young and Charli xcx, so I'm not at all surprised that they've supported Lily, even less so with the insane hype from the last week.I did think that whatever they playlisted (whether it be an individual song or just "tracks from West End Girl", dependent on the label nominating a single like they have) would have gone straight to the B list though, so it's a shame to see Madeline only on C, but I'm sure it'll work its way up.
October 31, 2025Oct 31 The album is huge right now, particularly culturally and across the sort of demographic Radio 1 would be listening to, I also heard Jack Saunders raving about it on air the other day and play an album track. It seemed obvious they'd support her.

Another "didn't have that on my 2025 bingo card" moment I guess.

The spoken parts don't make Madeline any less worthy of being on the radio!
