That's the whole point the fact it's an Amazon exclusive. Kylie wouldn't be top 100 if it wasn't for Amazon having it on all the Christmas playlists. You can get an idea of how well the exclusive will do based on how the other exclusives have performed in the early stages. I'm sure Kylie will have better physical and download sales but her streaming needs to be the same as how other exclusives have done to be high in streams on chart week.At the moment Kylie is falling behind Tom last year week on week so it needs to make gains,Common sense no? There are a lot more factors than just being an Amazon Exclusive, Alexa or not. Do we actually have the streaming numbers comparison between the 2 songs this week or next or just chart position differences?Anyway we both want Kylie success :)

It’s abundantly clear by now that the key factor in the success of all of them is Amazon’s massive push with streaming alongside Alexa prioritising these songs when Christmas songs are requested.It’s literally the only reason XMAS is in the midweeks… and yes, it is completely logical to compare it to Tom Grennan’s Amazon Christmas song from last year because… it’s precisely and 100% the same gimmick so far?So please don’t be so dismissive, that post of yours was quite rude. We’re contributing our knowledge about this to be helpful and provide context. Hopefully it’s still as popular, it would be annoying if after the last few years it ends up being Kylie’s year that an exclusive is not a guaranteed Top 5/10 outcome anymore 😆
Monday at 12:532 days The Alexa devices will be slashed for the actual Black Friday this week as Amazon use it as a tactic to get their streaming numbers up etc., so hopefully it’ll be the same this year.
