I think they’ll make it album only. I’m sure they’re holding back the download for the 12th but potentially.

I think hopes we're high for yesterday's chart as she was top 100 all week. Pre seeing the mids no one really had hopes for yesterday's chart but the mids gave hope.

If they do hold the individual downloads back to the 12th it will maximise any chance of being Christmas number 1 announced on the 19th.

It’s best chance of number 1 will be the chart announced Boxing Day which will be purely down to Alexa spam all week. A few thousand fans already owning it physically on the album will not be crucial.

It might not even get close to the top anyway. It could be it’ll just help it peak further down the chart.

It’s critical they release multiple download versions to be honest.

If they just stick with the one version I don’t think she’ll have a chance the push will come from fans buying multiple versions on download if it’s close.

I'd love to know where all these customers are that put bets on Xmas #1 or X Factor winners etc etc etc. In the 8 years I worked at William Hill I took one bet on someone to win X-Factor and not a single other even enquiry on an Xmas #1 or any other show winner etc. 😂
