Slowly coming around to the result now. I didn't think I had a big hit on my hands or anything but I wasn't expecting a DNQ so that knocked me for six!

What a cruel time to DNQ when I was on the cusp of achieving a best ever EOY position 😪 and a 10 Q streak in tatters!! Shall have to come back strong in the new year.

Then Sandénia, Macromia, Zephyra Continuum and Jadakissnia I'm also sorry to see out, would have liked to see them qualify but it was a very strong semi and I figured some of the songs I considered for votes wouldn't make it. Sandénia definitely deserved more than 2 points though, not that it would have helped but they were 11th for me.

Most of my favourites did make it through though thankfully.

Omg poor Sandénia.

(well... I'll have to double check but I think coming last in the semi three times in a row is a first which would be something at least? but cmon y'all it deserved better than that, none of these recent entries of theirs have deserved to come last unlike some of their past entries xo). Tbf like I said I can imagine it's the kind of song that might blend in a bit and I'm sure it will have been close to points from a few other people but that working out to it being stranded way behind the rest of the field is just cruel x

That's disappointing that Macromia were so far off as well, semi 2 voters might have been a bit more favourable to it (although it also would have had more competition from similar entries there so maybe it's a wash and it was just a bit doomed either way).

edit: 3 semi wooden spoons in a row is a first indeed (2 in a row had been done 13 times before not counting this current Sandénia run). Flopping in style

Sandénia also came 11th for me in my rankings. It's sad that they came last with only 2 points, it was definitely deserving of better....
