I just love doing the certifications and observing the charts. It pleases my little, autistic brain.

Separate imo - one for each week

I'll be continuing to do the certifications every Friday. It'll be a nice distraction.

As a major Whitney Houston fan, I actually did not expect to see Exhale(Shoop Shoop) certified before some of her other yet uncertified hit songs. It's a lovely gentle understated ballad but I didnt think the UK took to it the same way America did. Great to see the recognition regardless!!

P.S. I'm loving every retro single certified this week...all classics imo!

'Lullaby' may be The Cure's highest peaking hit but feels a bit overshadowed by some of their other songs. Great to see it up to Gold now!

Highlights: Let Her Go, Ruby, Night Changes, Beggin', Duality, Sugar Sugar, Sunshine Of Your Love, For Whom The Bell Tolls, Wanna Be Startin' Somethin', Lullaby and I Just Want To Make Love To You. Nice to also see Hypersonic Missiles and Rebel Diamonds get new certs on the albums ❤️

surprised it’s taken this long for a cornflake girl certificate but yay

overdrive is most welcome too despite it not having been a chart hit here it was big in europe

Their highest-charting song, but their 7th biggest-seller.

Interesting to see Carrie Underwood's Blown Away gold! Such a good album and enjoyed it a lot at release over 10, almost 15 years ago... It must trickle stream quite well as it only peaked at #11 originally with a 11-38-66-OUT chart run! Although the UK edition did include the likes of "Before He Cheats", "Jesus Take The Wheel" & "Cowboy Casanova" from her previous albums so they are likely boosting it too.

The 5 Colours In Her Hair certifications are so confusing. Have the gold certification this week + the separate gold certification from last month with Get Over You, even though 5CIHH wasn't a double A side and Get Over You was the B side to Obviously.
