A three-way battle is on the cards between Taylor Swift, RAYE and Djo for this week’s Number 1.

Tay-Tay and The Fate of Ophelia are looking to wrestle back the title and secure an eighth non-consecutive week at the summit (1).

But after earning the first Number 1 of 2026, can WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! claim a second week in a row at the top? It currently finds itself at Number 2.

However, a shock could be on the cards for both. After re-entering the Top 10 on Friday, Djo and End of Beginning suddenly finds itself battling for the Number 1 crown (3). This is largely thanks to the conclusion of the smash TV show Stranger Things, in which the American actor and singer plays the character Steve Harrington.

The highest new entry of the week could come courtesy of English musician and social media star James Marriott with his latest offering, California Rain (5). Securing a Number 1 album in 2025 with Don’t Tell The Dog, this is likely to be the 28-year-old’s debut in the Official Singles Chart Top 40.

Girl group KATSEYE are aiming to attain their best performing single to date with Internet Girl (13).

A slew of hits thanks to their association with Stranger Things may see significant activity in the Top 40. These include Running Up That Hill from Kate Bush (14), Tiffany’s I Think We’re Alone Now (25), The Clash with Should I Stay or Should I Go (34), which is tracking to make its first appearance for 35 years inside the Top 40 and finally Prince and his classic banger, Purple Rain (39).

Sonny Fodera’s popular hit Think About Us featuring D.O.D and Poppy Baskcomb could taste the Top 20 for the first time (20).

Chappell Roan’s Pink Pony Club is eying significant movement up the standings, looking to jump seven places (31) while two tracks looking to pierce the Top 40 consist of Gone Gone Gone from David Guetta featuring Teddy Swims and Tones & I (32) as well as James Hype, Sam Harper and Bobby Harvey with Waterfalls (33).

i do wish raye was holding the #1 but im glad she made it in the end, and Ophelia is a banger so I don’t mind that at the top

They mention stranger things associated songs so they should reset the police and Diana Ross too. I know the police song has been doing well outside the show but if they reset the clash and they were used in season 1 the police should also be reset from their use in s2

Clash made it in! Still no sign of Diana Ross. For whatever reason, I think she has missed her chance for a reset - it could be just that she never increased by more than 25% on any week, other than potentially last week which didn’t count - or they might just have missed her.

Tbf I think prince would be much higher if he had been reset so I think he and Fleetwood are still on ACR and we just have to pray they’ll do the right thing and reset them all fairly for Friday

Landslide should make the top 40 on Friday even without a reset I would think

But Diana isn't there either and she charted already last week. There is absolutely no way that OCC didn't track that ready for this week.
