Probably one of the worst things I've ever heard! Y'all serious?

  • Although it is annoying for BJSC purposes only, I love that the Pop Forum is starting to get more active for upcoming performers. I was actually only having this discussion on Popjustice the other day

Yeah, this is absolute....ly not for me.

Defo didn’t hear this song earlier in the week and thought about it for a song contest….

Ditto, another one on the veto pile.

Great pop - very theatrical!

Unsurprised to see a topic for this here, this is a very rare song of its type to make me pay real attention; very fun pop and it sounds like something that will get at least a little bit of rotation (in gay clubs if literally nothing else)

This one is good - gets better with each listen. Truly the highlight of this weeks new releases.

It’s so Mika coded and I love it!

(And yes, I too considered it for BJSC… do I have to stop pop songs having a thread made in the pop forum for fear of vetoes? Omg - jk keep posting ofc x)

This thread actually introduced me to this song and it’s good, but when did this current trend of theatrical pop exist? Did I miss the reason for that - is it Chappell?

Agreed, and we have to remember that not everyone on the forum is in BJSC, so we don't want to end up gatekeeping every great new pop song from everyone else and limit forum discussion and wider new music discovery.

I think it must be because of Chappell, I was thinking the same earlier when listening to the new MARIS song straight after this.

THIS IS GREAT! The video is amazing also.

Listening for the first time and the only reason I am is because I saw Capital added it and I thought what the heck is that. It's very in your face but my gosh it's very catchy
