Be very strange if the vinyls are released after all for it to stall at 2 now any chance the cds can suddenly brought forward like they clearly been ready a while

There's a few more big releases over the next month thankfully - I imagine all these will contend for #1: Friday 13th February Charli xcx - Wuthering Heights Friday 20th February Mumford & Son

Kendrick was increasing in streams throughout the week following the Super Bowl and continued to stay high up the week after, while Bad Bunny hasdropped slightly from Monday on Tuesday. Not sure he will have the same legs as Kendrick sadly!

Now I've seen today's Spotify update, I'd have to say he probably won't make it next week either.

Worst #1 of the year is back on the table then x

(I really strongly dislike this game of just changing dispatch dates on a whim, I know a lot of aspects of the chart are open to manipulation but this has to be the most egregious)

Tbf considering the speed they sold out i doubt the vinyls alone will eat the deficit of the last 3 days, she'd need the cds too

Calvin looking fairly safe for top 40 then, unlike Shakira-Shakira

Release The Pressure’s physicals started arriving yesterday apparently

Kendrick already had a profile here, even if it wasn't as big as the states. And he got MASSIVE press because he inferred Drake was a PDF File.

Guess he might even climb a bit then - I still can't see it having longevity though

Looks like ‘Rein Me In’ is challenging for the Irish #1 from posts I’ve seen today, if that could be repeated in the UK next week pls.

My cds shipped out the same day as the vinyl.

Fingers 🤞 she done enough then 🙏

Taylor really messed up her promotion this time . First focusing on CDs and then on vinyl. I’m not even sure she’ll manage to hit #1. And she even dropped it during Super Bowl week, another questionable decision.

^ i don't think the superbowl is going to stop Taylor going to number 1 in the UK.

Yup. So it’s a question of whether Taylor has sold enough to overtake Dave, and I think the way her team work, they would not have dispatched it if they didn’t think they could do it.

But looking at the way things are at present, and this week’s release schedule, I genuinely think it is going to be ‘Rein Me In’ next week - who would have seen that coming?

Well she sent out both cds and vinyls yesterday so that was in time for tonight's chart so she has a very strong shot

Masterclass of just flitting around avoiding ACR until all the competition evaporates.

(At least it'd finally be another week at #1 for Olivia after so many denied by ACR - of course 'Man I Need' will most likely still be #1 on the no-ACR chart)

((Also would already be a 4th #1 of the year by British artists! 2023 was the last year that had more than 3 in total, excluding the annual Wham! return))

To be fair to Opalite, it does benefit greatly on the Billboard Hot 100 in America thanks to the chart rules temporarily (due to a dispute between Billboard and YouTube) removing YouTube counts.
