C'mon Bad Bunny! It would be amazing to have another Spanish language album top 5 success so soon after ROSALÍA*

Curious to know if Mandy, Indiana are in the top 100, my AOTY so far - they do have some 6Music support

*well she mixed about 13 different languages into LUX but predominantly Spanish lol

Bit annoying that only Robbie/Louis have been able to give us new number one albums this year...

Although a refreshing change in a way!

The power of the (ex) boyband!

Is anyone gonna beat out Olivia Dean at this point

There's a few more big releases over the next month thankfully - I imagine all these will contend for #1:

Friday 13th February

Charli xcx - Wuthering Heights

Friday 20th February

Mumford & Sons - Prizefighter

Friday 27th February

Blackpink - Deadline

Bruno Mars - The Romantic

Gorillaz - The Mountain

(could be an interesting one!)

Friday 6th March

Harry Styles - Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally

Friday 13th March

Zach Bryan - With Heaven On Top (physicals)

Friday 20th March

BTS - Arirang

Jane McDonald - Living The Dream ;)

I think it’ll be between Bruno and gorillaz that week, blackpinks is just a mini album of I think 5 songs so can’t see it contending? Might end up doing like Lewis Capaldis one? Where the sales get attached to a specific song?

I was thinking it is looking like a new peak for Fleetwood Mac - 50 Years - but Bad Bunny will probably end up at number 2.

I now feel like Olivia’s gonna have the year end #1 album and that’s without the possibility of a re-release or deluxe happening at some point too which i wouldn’t say is totally out of the question.

OCC article writer confuses their charts again. The Lorien Testard release is a new entry - it previously peaked at 13 only on the albums downloads chart.

As long as Taylor doesnt release something before October, I can see that too (although 1 of the "easter eggs" in the opalite video is ready for the encore a few others are pointing towards debut TV 🤣)

Looks like we might get a Manchild reset on Friday. The Jennie version of Dracula isn't combined with the original!

I don’t think that if she does do debut tv it’ll challenge Olivia for year end no1. I do wonder if she’ll finally do a proper era though and push a few more singles from showgirl. I mean the selection of decent options is dwindling now that opalite is one but it would be nice to have an album era that doesn’t come and go in 3 months as a lot of them tend to do

Interesting opalite doesn’t have that big a lead. Not sure if physicals have been added yet, if they have she definitely won’t hold on

Ooh opalite only 1k ahead, i wonder if it’ll manage to hold? They’ll need to push for it I think seeing how it’s dropped a bit now on streaming
