Posted Tuesday at 19:001 day THE SOLO FEMALE ORBIT AUDITIONSThe impostors have been caught and removed from Pop Fleet 26; phew, a close call! But now we can finally take to the stars and truly begin the search for Lady BuzzJack! We're within the spacecraft's weight restrictions now, but when we touch down at our first pit-stop to refuel in just under one week's time, three artists must stay behind at the pit-stop to survey the environment. And at this point we're unsure if the spacecraft will have the opportunity to return to collect them. It's time to welcome back all of the solo female artists to the stage to audition for you, the voting BuzzJack public, to keep their place in Pop Fleet 26.How it works:Once you have listened to all of the artists perform you should post a ranking of each of the performances. You can rank them from best to worst (making clear which is your favourite down to least favourite), or use the template below:01 (favourite)0203040506070809101112 (least favourite)For those voting who have entered one of the artists into the competition, you should rank all twelve performances in your own category (however it's encouraged that you vote in both other categories), and when totalling up scores your entry will be removed from the list to retain anonymity in the competition. As always, even if you are not competing in The Pop Factor you can vote too! When voting closes, the eleven female soloists with the highest scores will proceed to the next round while ONE of the females will - for real this time - be eliminated from the competition and will not be going through.Voting will close on Monday 16 February 2026, 17:59 GMTSo let's say hello to the artists again and hear what they've decided to perform for their ORBIT AUDITION...010203040506070809101112Standard list of entries:FKA twigs - Glass & PatronLiSA - Gurenge (紅蓮華)Kesha - BlowNadia Oh - Taking Over the DancefloorDelta Goodrem - Sitting On Top of the WorldToni Braxton - You’re Makin’ Me HighNelly Furtado & Tiësto - Who Wants to Be AloneKelly Clarkson - GoneLily Allen - Who’d Have KnownMichelle Branch - You Set Me FreeChappell Roan - Super Graphic Ultra Modern GirlROSALÍA - DIABLO
Tuesday at 19:471 day Team Chappell ain’t playing!! Another exceptional song choice.Lily’s choice this round is so much better! Not one I’ve listened to a lot admittedly so will be good to hear it with fresh ears.Love that Kelly track! Definitely a highlight of the Breakaway album. Not as keen on that Kesha pick but it’s clearly a fan-fave so a smart choice imo.
Tuesday at 19:591 day Author Note for this category: when the playlist goes up, there is a 6 minute version of Nadia Oh's song, which is the version the person behind the artist has requested (not available on YouTube)
Tuesday at 20:081 day Hell yeah go big or go home LiSA. What a banger. If that comes last too I will despair.I only know a couple of the others actually lol
Tuesday at 20:121 day Lily, Kesha & Twigs all upping their game this round! Whereas Chappell has already used her ace so might struggle in future rounds! Not familiar with a bunch of these so looking forward to expanding my knowledge of some of the other acts too!
Tuesday at 20:141 day Some intriguing choices in here from the ones I know already. Glass & Patron was my entry to the recent bop Idol one-hit wonder spin off and seemed to go down well there so fingers crossed it’s well received here in the pop forum too.
Tuesday at 22:591 day What a choice for Kelly Clarkson! Not just a great album track but one of the best y favourite from her in general.

Yesterday at 01:031 day 01 Chappell Roan02 Kesha03 Kelly Clarkson04 Toni Braxton05 Michelle Branch06 FKA Twigs07 ROSALIA08 Nelly Furtado09 Lily Allen10 Delta Goodrem11 LiSA12 Nadia OhLove the top three, Toni is good and Michelle was decent if dated and if the time. I liked FKA and Rosalia as wellNelly has much better, a v strange choice. Lilys has always been one of her most bland imo, Delta did nothing for me oops and the last two - especially Nadia were awful to me sorry oops
Yesterday at 02:271 day Not Gurenge, one of my former BJSC entries (and an unjust DNQ) appearing this early. The taste!
Yesterday at 03:531 day I really like the Lily Allen track, one of the best from that very average album.Sitting On Top Of The World is ok, but not a Delta favourite for me. Hopefully it does well though.
Yesterday at 06:531 day I’d totally forgotten about that Nelly Furtado song, I don’t think I’ve listened to it since 2009/2010. Such a bop!ice whoever sent it.
