I really don't see the problem with "nobodies", it's always the song, not the act, and you hearing of people does not mean they don't have talent. That you never heard of him doesn't mean he's a nobod

  • This year also has the additional notion that anyone with a fan base would surely just be making themselves a lamb to the slaughter, given many are boycotting this year due to Israel’s participation.

Who exactly had heard of Kalush, Nemo, JJ before Eurovision? Case closed.

I fucking loved and still love the flawed barely electro electro-swing that was Electro Velvet in studio form but I never pretended it was coming top 10 or anything of the sort.

Incidentally that's the worst BBC staging that I can think of and this year if LMNC brings his setup we should have potentially one of our best.

Massively prefer Remember Monday’s song from last year but I can see the appeal with this one

Hope it does well for him

This is actually growing ALOT surely it’s gonna do better than the last 3 years at least

Not ONE person could sing in the past three years!!! So gotta do better based on that alone

Sigh... I hate to be a negative nelly.

But this just isn't good. It's niche to British Culture with some of the references and whilst clearly talented this just doesn't have a broad appeal imo.

Definitely a right side of the board score incoming and a nil in televoting seems highly likely.

I really do hope the best for him, but this just isn't it for me. sad

I've just listened for the first time and loving it - the sort of thing we've been needing to send for years! Whether we do well is completely up to the whim of the public but we've given ourselves the best shot I think.

It's not a good song, it's not in the charts, but as an entey it's fun, different, and not like all the rest of the stuff we send. I think it will do well in the televote, but not in the jury vote tbh. Basically, a good entey, finally getting something different, but a bad song

Question?

We always/more often than not in recent years, do really badly in the televote, what is it about this song that would suggest it could be different?

I can understand the jury maybe liking something a bit... out of the ordinary and unique but don't imagine the general public of Europe getting behind it.

What you think about a song like this? Got its own car and spend it own money

The song is fun and energetic and, witht he right staging, it will stand out, and that's what will get people voting for it a bit. It won't get jury votes becsuse it"s not a big vocals song. I can also see Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Denmark giving iy big telepoints too
