Welcome to Pop Track of the Week 2026!

Each week, new releases from the worlds of pop and country are selected to go head to head, with one weekly winner. The winners will then go up against future weekly winners later in the year - at the end of each quarter and again at the end of the year - to determine the ultimate winner of 2026.

Week 10 results:

Jennifer Lopez & David Guetta - Save Me Tonight 6

Cobrah - Dog 4

Harry Styles - American Girls 4

Olivia Rodrigo & War Child Records - The Book of Love 3

EMELINE - Against the Gates 2

Boy Deluxe - Anti Social 1

December 10 - Angel 1

Johnny Orlando - Have Your Lovin' 1

Mike Posner - I Went Back to Ibiza 1

MØ - Hunnybån 1

bbno$ - why am i like this 0

Say Now - Millions 0

Total votes: 24

Jennifer Lopez and David Guetta's collaboration Save Me Tonight tops the poll this week with six votes, while Cobrah and Harry Styles are in joint second place with four votes each. Cobrah's song comes from newly-released album Torn, while Harry's song American Girls looks set to become the second single from his fourth solo album.

Bit of a weak week (no pun intended) for single releases, for me it was close between Mel C and the Pussycats, but Mel C just edged it for me (even though it's not quite as good as her previous single!)

I’d have expected no competition for PCD before the song came out (and it is growing!) but I’ve gotta give it to Kacey ❤️

1 SIENNA SPIRO

2 Melanie C

3 Charlotte Cardin

4 The Pussycat Dolls

5 Holly Humberstone

6 Freya Ridings

7 Charlie Puth

8 Kacey Musgraves

9 Charlotte MacInnes

10 Charley

11 Robyn

12 Luke Combs

SIENNA's whole career so far kind of feels like she's just trying to fill an Adele-shaped gap in the music industry but she is continuing to be pretty consistently enjoyable in this lane so I won't complain, I expect this song will also grow on me with more listens like all of her other hits so far have. Pretty good songs from Melanie, Charlotte C, PCD and Holly. Freya's and Charlie's are both nice. The Kacey song is musically solid but the lyrics are a bit on the cringy side for me, it's like a (more) countryfied Sabrina Carpenter song, I'll hope for songs that are more up my street to come from this era as I do find her to generally be one of the better artists in country. Charlotte M was ok, found the vocals on the Charley song a little annoying at points, not really sure what's going on with this Robyn era as now 2 out of the 4 songs we've heard have been a bit of a mess (at least 'Dopamine' was a bop), Luke Combs continues to be Luke Combs.

My "late" personal rankings for Week 10 (I realise this ranking does not count for anything at this stage);

  1. Melanie C – Undefeated Champion

  2. Charlotte MacInnes – Struck

  3. Charley – Bite My Tongue

  4. Kacey Musgraves – Dry Spell

  5. Robyn – Blow My Mind

  6. Charlotte Cardin – The Way We Touch

  7. The Pussycat Dolls – Club Song

  8. Holly Humberstone – Cruel World

  9. Charlie Puth feat. Hikaru Utada – Home

  10. Freya Ridings – I Have Always Loved You

  11. Luke Combs – I Ain’t No Cowboy

  12. SIENNA SPIRO – The Visitor
