I didn't realise there were so many The only one I could think of was the Madonna example with the two songs called 'Forbidden Love' (both fabulous btw).

I always found it really bizarre to let this happen... but then again, some of my behaviour is probably seen as bizarre so who am I to say anything, heh.

Glee Cast had two songs called 'Somebody To Love' - the Queen cover from season 1 which went Top 40, and a Bieber cover from season 5 which also made the Top 100. Despite being completely different songs, their chart runs are combined on the OCC site

I already knew of most of the examples posted but one that hasn't been posted yet is 'Mother' by Travis, one is a B-Side from 1997, the other is an album track from 2013.

Alyssa Reid has two songs called Without You - the first was on her debut album The Game, while the second was initially released under her alias ASHS until all of those releases were brought under her real name later.

They are technically the same song, just the recent one is a re-record/rework with altered lyrics but I suppose it fits the theme here as they exist separately (though could be argued as just a remix too).

One really weird and annoying example is Camden Cox's 'Gold' - she released a song of that name in 2017 (which was a runner-up in BJSC) and then another completely unrelated song with the same name in 2023 but the 2017 one is no longer available on streaming services! (Although it is still on YouTube). When she was promoting the 2023 song there was iirc no acknowledgement whatsoever that she already had a song with that title.

Also another one I just remembered is Lil Baby having unrelated songs called 'Forever' on 2 consecutive albums (one featuring Lil Wayne in 2020 and one featuring Fridayy in 2022).

Beverley Knight has two songs called “Damn”. One from the “Prodigal Sista” album in the 90s and one from “Soul UK”, which is a cover.

That means Kylie and Travis each have two songs called 'Closer', the first song title in this thread which applies to more than one artist!
