June 7Jun 7 I tell you what, I like everything I've heard so far but I'm waiting for that one track that will blow my bollocks off. I trust there'll be something on the album that will.
June 7Jun 7 I’m so here for all the promo pre release we’re getting here. I hope the UK gets something too but she’s going all out and it feels like the public are aware new music is near! Really hope we can give her another UK #1 album!

June 8Jun 8 OMG the film is incredible the actual videos look amazing !!! Release them !!!Song 2 and three !!! 🥰
June 8Jun 8 So this is the best thing she's done in twenty years, right? Everything sounds and looks fantastic. SHOOKDanceteria
June 8Jun 8 I’m here seeing everyone else getting excited whilst I’m not really feeling this era at all 😢 I had way more anticipation for Madame X
June 8Jun 8 I really like the concept of a short film as a way to establish the visual world for a project. I can stomach no music videos if artists do things like this insteadJust now, dandy* said:I’m here seeing everyone else getting excited whilst I’m not really feeling this era at all 😢 I had way more anticipation for Madame XYou didn't like the film? Oops'Madame X' was everything I had wanted in years, on paper (Mirwais!), but the execution was a chop. This seems like her most realised and listenable project since the first Confessions
June 8Jun 8 It's sad to see that real Madonna fans are super excited with the era but it is not really reflected here with the general public. Someone said her work isn't as good as it was 40 years ago, which is 1986. 😄True Blue? Anyway, as a 90s house music lover, i love all 3 tracks she released so far and am super excited with the previews in this epic video.
June 8Jun 8 OK so I'm not 100% sold on the songs but that video was a visual feast for the eyes and felt like Madonna that hasn't been around for years. I enjoyed it a lot!

This seems like her most realised and listenable project since the first ConfessionsI didn't hate the film or anything and welcome the effort and style of it, but the music just isn't exciting me in the slightest for some reason - it all sounds fine but I've yet to hear anything that makes me stop and really want to listen, I want that killer hook that the best Madonna songs have and I'm just not hearing any. At the moment I haven't even wanted to pre-order it (sadfacecryetc) and it's in danger of becoming only the second of her albums that I haven't bought week one in a huge rush of excitement (the other being MDNA which I still have never bought)I still like Madame X - there's not really any tracks that I'd rank among her very best, and they don't sit well alongside her singles collection either, but I still find it an interesting listen when I go back to it.
June 8Jun 8 Danceteria sounds very promising - an old school Madonna track but pretty interesting one.Quite a lot of effort on Bring Your Love there without the proper music video. Wonder if there will be one later. Edited June 8Jun 8 by Sour Candy
