Dawn and A'keria absolutely devoured their designs in episode 2.

This really is a cracking group! Morphine is rubbing me up the wrong way a little bit though - are we supposed to believe that she was going to give her point to Lucky if she received her point? I don’t think so. But I do like how there’s not really much in the way of forced drama, just great drag and even Mystique has stepped it up a bit!

Dawn/Morgan/Akeria absolutely deserved their wins including those who won their lipsyncs but damn it hurt not seeing Lucky not get a top placement with that incredible look she did for the second challenge, but a top placement is some form of flowers and both Dawn and Akeria were outstanding.

Dawn has really had a glow up, and fairly got all of her wins, but I kind of wish A’Keria and Morgan successfully made it to merge as their alliance, that’s a better storyline than the tie imo.

Honestly I just think 2 queens merging is a bit shit when there’s three really strong queens in A’Keria, Dawn and Morgan so any of the 3 missing out would feel like a loss. Especially as both A’Keria and Morgan are coming back after disappointing showings last time around to redeem themselves. I guess 2 instead of 3 makes it a bit less predictable as one of the strong queens misses out, but eh

As for this challenge itself, any of Dawn/A’Keria/Morgan could have won, A’Keria was the funniest but Morgan and especially Dawn really felt like hosts, I hate these kind of challenges where it’s not really clear what they want.

I feel so bad for Morgan. Imagine being at your best on Drag Race, and not even making the merge.

Am I crazy or did Mystique kinda eat the challenge

i feel like this is a great outcome for her, and also one of the real benefits of this format. she got to prove that she is up there with the best, show the ultimate idgaf ijbol cuntress that she is and doesn’t risk fading into the background of the merge like irene for example (and like dawn probably will)

Oh no, Morgan shouldn’t have given that point to A’keria in the end lol. Honestly, I was a bit surprised that Rupaul didn’t go for Morgan given her two wins. She’ll definitely be selected for one of those wildcard spots anyway.

I still can’t get into Dawn. I can appreciate the glow up is there, the looks definitely are and she has improved but she doesn’t have that “oomph” of a spark when she’s on camera that Akeria, Morgan and honestly Morphine do. Definitely disappointed that Morgan didn’t get to progress, she’s great TV.

The “Ru decides” tie breaker also felt weirdly anti-climatic, like… get the queens to vote between them? Up the drama?

She just decided Akeria and I was like …oh okay? Sure?

Idk why they didn’t have a lipsync or a vote of the other 3 queens (not Dawn to avoid a tie), I agree it was really anticlimactic. That’s a problem with the bracket format and having a tie did give them an opportunity to do something more unique with it and they squandered it.

Morgan and A'keria making it through with a wholesome alliance and pushing out Dawn, after three wins, was right there producers

Just watched through Bracket 1

EP1: Morphine should've been top 2 over Dawn. Although Dawn definitely did well and her runway was great too! Morgan killed it and deserved the top 2/win! I was a bit disappointed by Mystique, I was hoping she would bring more energy to it. Lucky plesantly surprised me - I thought she did well in the performance but I didn't like the lyrics/verse much. A'Keria was definitley 4/6 but still did decent!

EP2: Dawn and A'keria the right top 2 - both killed it! I thought everyone did well, even Mystique and Morphine would be safe on a usual season. The lip sync was a bit underhwhelming but I did feel A'Keria was the winner/gave the tighter lip sync.

EP3: The A'keria love at the start giving her 2 more points! Unexpected but also nice to see! For the challenge I thought it was a bit boring? I would've put A'Keria in the top 2 over Dawn and would've had Morgan win the lip sync vs Dawn. Shame to see Morgan not make it through but happy to see A'Keria get through! Dawn did well in all 3 episodes so deserved to make it through too.

Overall I thought the Bracket was decent, but a bit boring. A clear top 3 of Morgan, Dawn + A'Keria. I was hoping Morphine would do better.
