April 28Apr 28 Remy Bond can say she's won and finished bottom in two different semi finals now. Can any other artist say that? Edited April 28Apr 28 by Josh!
April 30Apr 30 Was the spreadsheet shared of who pointed the non-qualifiers? I'd like to update my national thread and thank those who sent me votes :)
May 5May 5 better late than never again ~Qualification streak update (underlined nations have matched or beaten their longest streak to date, streaks that are longer when counting non-consecutive participations are in italics where applicable): 01 64 Hendinia (non-consecutive: 69) 02 29 Aeroche 03 26 Danæviia 04 21 Neliönoir 05 20 Cor Lupus 06 19 Kluminican Republic 07 9 Fljótavík 08 7 The Spodic Empire 09 5 Dalisska 10 4 Baleghde 10 4 Bøtanikkä (non-consecutive: 5) * 10 4 Deandria 10 4 Juranabaijan 10 4 Scotland 2 10 4 Trifoski 16 3 Altyr Muunilinst 16 3 East Rukahavian 16 3 Freidland 16 3 Lentyll 16 3 Ojnoj 16 3 Persephonia 22 2 A-Konohagakure 22 2 Bronzil 22 2 Jadakissnia 22 2 Pestolia 22 2 République d'Áskorza 22 2 Séyetana 22 2 Skall 22 2 Terra Avium 30 1 Aelandor 30 1 Dobago 30 1 Elëdan 30 1 Ennea 30 1 Flynnonda 30 1 Kathaldazia 30 1 Land of DW 30 1 Pagasa 30 1 Sovarasma 30 1 Utopia (non-consecutive: 3) 30 1 Yehesi 30 1 Zephyra Continuum xx (9) Mothertopia xx (9) POPHub xx (3) Cheiron xx (3) Summericia xx (2) FARC xx (2) FSR Rontvia xx (2) Lookylion xx (2) N DNTN xx (2) New Lexico xx (1) Ajanaeda xx (1) Cumulonimbia xx (1) Greenfroze* Bøtanikkä's mid-contest withdrawal from BJSC 180 is not counted as a DNQ for the purposes of this listAll 6 of the countries who were on double digits qualified again, giving us a once again unchanged podium with Hendinia's record growing to 64 consecutive qualifiers (69 in non-consecutive contests), Aeroche their closest competitor, Danæviia and Neliönoir in 3rd and 4th expanding their records again to 26 and 21, Cor Lupus now making it a top 5 all with two unbroken years of qualifiers and Kluminican Republic in 6th expanding their record to 19. Both of the countries who had been looking to join the top 6 in double digits faltered in this contest though - we'll see if the same fate befalls Fljótavík who now move up to 7th on 9 in a row. The Spodic Empire further expand their current record to 7 in a row moving up to 8th, while Dalisska move up to 5 qualifiers in a row which matches their previous record in consecutive contests, previously achieved in BJSCs 23-27 and again in BJSCs 29-33 - of note, they did not enter BJSC 28 so these two previous runs of 5 in a row combine for their record streak in non-consecutive contests of 10. The bar to qualify for the top 10 on this list falls even further from 6 to just 4 (!), with a six-way tie for 10th place. Among those, Deandria expand their current record, Scotland 2 make it to 4 in a row for the first time after matching their record of 3 last month, and likewise for Juranabaijan whose current consecutive record now pulls even with their old record in non-consecutive contests (set in BJSCs 42 & 51-53).Below the top 10, Freidland and Lentyll expand both of their current records to 3, while East Rukahavian also make it to 3 in a row to match their consecutive record, previously achieved in BJSCs 58-60 and again in BJSCs 124-126 (as well as non-consecutively in BJSCs 84 & 86-87 - although their non-consecutive record, like Dalisska's, remains unbeaten as they pulled off 5 qualifying entries in a row adding BJSCs 70-71 after their 58-60 run with them having not entered BJSCs 61-69). Zephyra Continuum match their 'record' of 1 as they pick up a second qualifier after previously making it in BJSC 181; writing this after the final results we do now know that they're guaranteed to make it 2 in a row with an auto-qualifier coming up in the next contest! And finally Ennea also make it onto the list for the first time after DNQing in each of their previous 3 contests.
