Can you please explain what 'Fruit Loops' is referring to @Dj Cheeky magpie x

Basically if anything is in the chart longer than they like they use this term, in this incident they are referring to RMI

#59. Zara Larsson & PinkPantheress - Midnight Sun (Girls Trip)

Spotify preferring the new track from Warren over Sabrina and Madonna is annoying

Not globally, though. Madonna & Sabrina debuted at #34 globally, whilst Alex debuted at #99.

I get that from context but I don't understand the etymology x

(of course this is not the first inexplicable fruit-adjacent djcheekymagpieism)

The Chemical Brothers debuting at #160 on Spotify, it's happening *.* (edit: well not a debut but the first time it's charted that the Spotify Charts website tracks - peaked at #67 on its original release per Kworb).

I've just Googled why it's re-entered. Looks like it's impact from the new Netflix film "Apex".

Combined, both versions are #5!

#3 with the ACR rule in effect cheeseblock

I find it quite annoying that several hits chart high because of two versions. RMI is obviously the biggest pain in the ass, but Dracula and now Midnight Sun are benefitting a bit too much as well. Just my opinion.

I think @Dj Cheeky magpie is implying the song is metaphorically 'played on loop'.

I dont care Midnight sun has overstayed its welcome, you cant whinge RMI has stayed too long and be happy thats been around just as long 🤣

But he still comments on it despite repeatedly saying he doesn't follow the charts anymore.

Looking good for midnight sun to go top 10 this week then! I did think Madonna & Sabrina would be a bit higher, I anticipated between 5-15 debut so a bit lower but still solid, hope it can go top 20 officially!
