June 5Jun 5 I wanted to send something that makes me happy, but I saved it for another time and sent something more serious instead.

June 6Jun 6 I have a few discoveries in mind for our entry, will 100% be a very different type of entry than we’ve ever sent before that’s for sure!
June 6Jun 6 I’ve spent quite a long time looking and decided to give up trying to find something I like. I’m just going to send something that sounds (to my uneducated self on Paraguay’s music scene) like something modern but with traditional influences that I could imagine listening to in a bar or by a pool there
June 6Jun 6 Out of interest though, is there a way of searching for acts from a specific country on Spotify or other sites that I’m not aware of? I’ve just been using google so far

I’ve just been using google so farI was actually just gonna say - I just recently discovered the beauty of using rateyourmusic.com for this! If you click on 'charts' (nothing to do with music charts, it just creates a chart for you!) at the top (not sure if you need an account for this, I made one just recently), you can look for music based on things like country, decade / years, genre, whether it's more 'popular' or more 'esoteric' (less well-known) etc. It's really good!I literally looked up combinations like 'less well-known albums by artists from Colombia from X decade'.
June 6Jun 6 So who's going to claim Egypt to send the Mo Salah song then... @Rooney or @Steve201 it could be you!
