Official Charts Report

Following the release of her new album CONFESSIONS II, Madonna could bag this week’s highest new entry with Danceteria (20).

And that's not all. Bring Your Love with Sabrina Carpenter may also re-enter the fray, currently sat at Number 36.

If all remains, Danceteria would earn Madonna her 74th Top 40 hit.

There’s a big week in the works for Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s Rein Me In, with the track set to become the British song with the most weeks at Number 1. After securing top spot for a 15th non-consecutive week on Friday, equalling Wet Wet Wet’s Love Is All Around from 1994, Rein Me In is on the brink of even more Official Chart history. With American crooner Frankie Laine’s I Believe spending 18 weeks at the top in 1953, the most ever for a song, how long before Rein Me In is crowned the most successful Official Charts song ever?

After his emotional final evening at Wembley Stadium, in which he became the artist to perform the most nights ever at the iconic venue, American Girls from Harry Styles could upset the apple cart and clinch the Official Singles Chart crown once more (2).

Ella Langley’s Choosin’ Texas is set to continue its popularity streak (6) and is one of several hits on the edge of new peaks.

Also in the mix are Prospa’s Free Your Mind (9), On 2nite from Silva Bumpa (12), World Cup banger Dai Dai (14), Stella Lefty’s Boston (15), and French DJ Hugel on Movin’ To The Sun (19), which is set for an impressive 12 place jump.

British sensation SIENNA SPIRO, who dropped her debut album Visitor this week, could see Great Expectation become her fifth main chart accolade (33), while Material Lover eyes further movement (13).

And as England prepare for their World Cup knockout match against Mexico tonight, unofficial team anthem Wonderwall could sprint 11 spots (21).

Oh her inventing new variants every week is of course a different story. But she's an anomaly there being able to sell the same album to same people in several separate occasions. I highly doubt that

'Wonderwall' #21 and England haven't played yet?

They announced a 12 day residency at manchester city stadium for next summer

So pleased American Girls has benefitted so much from his shows - was one of the highlights for me

shanequa saying just now that rein me in had been at #1 for 57 weeks and is she wrong?

Looks like they are pushing back the vinyl again too, may as well go for a 17th week if the 16th is on lock 🤣

At some point they're just going to have to be transparent with people who've preordered and got impatient, they are purely being used as tools when competition comes up 😂

There's no threat for rmi for a couple of weeks yet, just release the damn vinyl. Just know they're waitin to gonna try n block an artist from getting 1w at #1 which is kinda selfish of them

nah imagine if Rein Me In gets to 17 weeks then falls from number 1 at the last hurdle

I’m hoping Last Christmas overtakes Rein Me In in the future. Imagine Sam Fender or his label begging OCC to remove Christmas songs from the singles chart so they can keep the record

Last Christmas will overtake in the future whether you like it or not and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t like that song. Imagine the power of Sam Fender getting Christmas songs removed from the singles chart 🤣
