Congratulations Harve, it's always a rare treat to have your 18 winning but though I kinda called it, amazing to see it happening with 7 others alongside me giving it the top marks and enough to win comfortably; utterly beautiful track and will go down as an excellent winner, long overdue after loving 'Pyrrhic' for years and of course Skall have had a few close calls that I wish had won over the years so great to see this one break through.

Thanks for the great hosting all the way through Addy, unfortunate for me that I didn't do very well (undeserved, my song is still incredible) but I will aim to convince more people to pay attention to my song next contest x

Great hosting @Addy! you did great loved the twist with the Eurovision style reveal mixed with everyone's 18's!

Tbh I am not upset with my outcome, I didn't expect to qualify, ill take 38th place, thank you to all the countries who did vote for and like Sub-Radio, Its honestly one of the most catchiest indie pops song's i've heard in a long time.

I know the name. And I probably gave them a listen. I honestly stopped listening to much new music about a decade ago. Apparently some people gradually get less and less out of new music as they get older. I am one of those people.

Do you ever see my posting in the indie rock forum? I don't even view that forum any more. 😕

Just catching up.

From 17th in the semi with 56 to 13th in the final with 203 is wild - hopefully means it grew on people?! Chuffed with that anyway for a first dive into BJSC. Thanks for the 18 and plenty of other strong support.

My bosses in New Helvetica like that sort of folky acoustic storytelling even more than Julian does so expect more of the same…

Incredible entry. Her story telling is a different art form. Delighted that it did well.

I think the main reason I was surprised in this instance was that they were pretty popular on here back in 2010 in particular and that’s where I picked them up from… but that may just have not coincided with when you were around as much.

But I get your point more generally though, it becomes more of a struggle each year for me as well. The sheer volume of options these days make it really tough as it feels like wading through endless amounts of songs I’m indifferent to just to find the odd few I really love.
