July 30Jul 30 There's often a couple of 'definitely not alternative' artists on the list; and the winner hasn't often gone to the most commercial looking artists anyway. Would have hoped for Gorillaz but with their history with the award wouldn't have expected them there.
July 30Jul 30 A very bland, uninspiring list, a lot of these feel like they’re there just on name alone, I really don’t think this reflects the most culturally and critically acclaimed music of the last 12 months as a whole, a great feat for Jade though.
August 2Aug 2 McCartneys album is great as is a few others but there’s some big ommisions too obv Mandy Indiana and Mary!

October 22Oct 22 looking forward to JADE performing Angel Of My Dreams tonight (though I don't think she's that likely to win - Olivia, RAYE, Dove Ellis or Nia Archives would be my guesses as to what the judges'd pick fwiw) Edited October 22Oct 22 by maggotsforbrains

October 22Oct 22 Oh wow. Was so sure it was going to Olivia and kinda hoping it wasn't as its already won so much. So happy for Raye
