Once again the fans prove the result that can be achieved when a co-ordinated release happens!

Frustrates me that Team Kylie (and Madonna for her C2 singles) allow lower peaks / split week releases.

All the sales were via Madonna’s store.

I’ve seen a few salty Madonna fans on X claiming she single handily returned Kylie to the Top 10 (even though Kylie was #1 just 7 months ago and Top 10 3 years ago with solo releases).

Looking at SayHey and all the pictures that have been posted of purchases I’d say the Kylie fans have contributed heavily and it’s probably an equal split between fanbases.

Fantastic result for both camps and like you say its highly likely its even, and realistically it wouldnt be as high without both camps

#8 is great I wasn’t expecting it to go top 20 nevermind top 10 so really chuffed for them! Another top 10! 😍

This just goes to show both of them need to change their strategies from now on, week 1 needs it all, single on streaming, remixes to download, physicals to be shipped out, music video launched (a performance somewhere). That’s the way for them to rack up more top 10/20 hits.

Sorry if asked before but does any one know the rules of how many physicals are allowed for chart placement? The duet 7" single has been dispatched already and that makes 3 x cd singles and the 7". Is this allowed to chart. I thought 1 of the cds would need to be sold out or deleted

I’m willing to bet the higher majority is Kylie fans.

And I say this being a far bigger fan of Madonna than I am of kylie’s back catalogue.

As well as us mega fans quite a few fans of both will have bought this release. 11k of CDs is a large amount especially as many would have bought 1 only.

Also put the loco motion to number 1 and gave padam padam a higher peak than the UK buy sadly let light years down like a tonne of bricks.

They’ll not submit data for the lowest seller - so the 3 highest selling formats/variations will count.

Thats my understanding at least.

Co ordinated releases are key in this point of her career and the results show each time they do it so I just wish they would do it with all kylie singles.

'Living For Love' absolutely should've been a top 10 hit though. And I'd like to think a lead single from MDNA could've in different circumstances.

All this - after the Tension single I thought they’d finally got a grasp on releasing everything together on week 1 was the way forward.

Without physicals Tension would have entered at #39, with the physicals it entered at #19!
