Oh well

It was never going to stay remotely high without new downloads and no physicals. Streaming is ok but is vastly reduced. Surprised it’s still top 100.

Even if they do release another download I just can’t see the masses getting behind it - it was different with Padam when we were fighting for a new peak each week.

What would a download achieve? An 8-74 drop rather than 8-out.

Yeah its going to take some hefty vinyl sales otherwise its already peaked they definitely did the right thing sending out the cds early

Thank god they got the CD’s out last week or I don’t think this would’ve got anywhere near top 10 any other week. Meh, it’s nabbed Kylie and Madonna another top 10 and a load of headlines, so it’s done it’s job, it doesn’t seem to be connecting with the general public at all, so I think it’s done.

Its very much a fan release song as lets not forget its essentially just a remix of an existing song but its really done its job,it got them both a top 10 which is just great and as you said gave them a few headlines aswell.

Wow wasn’t quite expecting that big of a drop! But I suppose it makes sense when you think it wouldn’t have made too 40 without the singles. Oh well who cares it’s given Madonna her first top 10 single from a studio album since Hard Candy, and given Kylie a third top 10 in the 20s!

Who would have thought in 2009 when celebration went to number three Madonna would struggle for top 10s from there on out!

This - without the CDs last week it would’ve entered at around #45, if the CDs landed another week the 11k would have got it in the lower Top 40, and I can’t see them shifting anymore than 5-7k of vinyl so definitely the best decision for CDs along with downloads and week 1 streams!

Think Kylie has the AFL footie final on 26th so can't see her catching a flight to USA literally straight after to perform with Madge :)

I'd probably guess Sabrina Carpenter would be who she performs with if anyone, given that has nominations.

yep. i was thinking a little medley Madge, Sabrina and Kylie. but like i said the Aussie football is a big deal. i suppose with the time differences Kylie performing in Australia on 26th she could make it for 27th evening in USA ...........

I’ve finally caught up on this thread!

I’m still feeling ecstatic that Kylie (and Madonna!) have achieved another Top 10 single. Never count them out!

As nice as it would be for Love Sensation to stick around in the charts, that would only have been a bonus. It got to #8 and that can never be taken away from it. ❤️

I’m glad the physicals sold as well as they did. I was a little disappointed that the discs are actually CD-Rs though, rather than proper commercially pressed CDs. I guess that’s why they were able to rush them out - using CD-Rs is a much quicker (and cheaper) process - but also lower quality in terms of durability. It’s still nice to own these physicals, and to be fair they were pretty cheap (originally £1.99 each). Still, it’s a little deceptive of the Madonna store to market them as CDs, when strictly speaking they aren’t.

I’m looking forward to receiving the 7” vinyl but I would be surprised if they can rush it with that format.

Given it a few streams throughout the week to try and help, although I know it's basically pissing in the wind. Hopefully it'll get a second chart week whenever the vinyls are dispatched.

Do we think there is any chance a video was made? Like even around the Time of the G Norton doc?

Or will this be featured on a new Madge deluxe album for more streams?

Will be interesting to see if any remixes etc come out this Friday? I expect a Romy one at least or the 7" edit

I'm sure I read that a video hadn't and wouldn't be made.

In truth, the lyric video would have sufficed without the lyrics over it.
