I have been deep in the highly extensive and rigorous application process to become a mod

Mine will be late evening - have a tough decision or two to make….(real Head vs Heart kinda stuff 😜)

Plus delayed start to listen throughs (thanks holiday site with next to no signal) means I’m still trying to get songs to stick!

The Top 3 were excellent (one of which I was particularly surprised about, considering its length).

I really liked the other 7 that got votes, and they were only really threatened by 2 more songs (sorry to those two that narrowly missed out).

3 songs were absolutely not for me, and the other 14 were... Varying shades of decent enough, but missing that key thing that would leave an impression on me!

Voted, semi 2 has fantastic strength in depth and very few songs I didn't care for. Five songs were unlucky I didn't have room for them, while those at the lower end of my votes would normally be higher - hope most of them come through!

I am going to be Jim on opposite day and say it was one of the worst semi finals since I’ve started IMO 😭
