Kylie sales (Source SH):

7 (RE) X - sales 3,512

17 (RE) Light Years - Sales 1,817

20 (RE) Aphrodite - Sales 1,765

31 (RE) Kiss Me Once - Sales 1,384

So if we look at last week's sales - only X should stay top 40. Would still be great. I'm just happy to have them all on vinyl - I just need Abbey Road Sessions really.

From Say Hey forum: Monday Midweeks

15 (NEW) Madonna & Kylie

Sales: 4978 (994 sales yesterday) 994 was

the 73rd biggest seller of the day.

WOW - that's crazy low - you would think with the fans for both Madonna and Kylie who will be buying multiple versions separately, it would be a lot higher. Come on guys!!

I'm surprised Kylie's old label re-released all those albums at once. Surely it makes more sense to spread them out a bit to milk the fanbase as much as possible? It seems to have paid off either way, but it does seem like sales could potentially have been higher if they were released a few week's apart.

As a 50yo dinosaur Madonna and Kylie fan myself, i'm shocked at how badly the single is doing. Supposedly the whole world was waiting for this collab. 🤪 And please don't tell me the song isn't strong, we hear what else is in the charts for months on end. Just shows how irrelevant they both are in the streaming world. Kids just keep streaming the same 5 artists and 10 songs.

Bit wild when a new kylie release has similar level of variants as a new Taylor release , these are just rereleases

FLO’s also pushing for it . I just bought the album on their website for £4.99 and they have different bundles , CD’s etc on the website also . It could end up being quite close .

They’ve also had problems on their website, a lot of preorders still haven’t been dispatched. My vinyls still haven’t. Hope they manage to get them out before Thursday.

I think it's the fact that it's a remix of an existing Madonna song rather than being brand new, the collab hype seemingly peaking a couple of months ago before it emerged that Kylie wasn't on the main album, and then a complete lack of playlist support upon release that's going against this, but it's still doing pretty well by their individual standards, higher in the mids than either previous Madonna single managed at this stage too.

I believe Madonna/Kylie have physicals out in September? So they could make it top 40 then if they manage to shift 10kish? Which I think would be doable? Maybe they should release a music video around the same time for a small boost to streaming as well.

I won’t be able to listen to the charts this Friday as I am on holiday, but I will still access the Top 40 chart on here

Thanks, makes sense, maybe because it was M and Kylie together I was expecting something amazing playlist and radio supportwise which have been nil. Also physicals not being coordinated with the digitals did not help.

Maybe this can pave the way for a proper Madonna/Kylie brand new song collab? I'm sure either Biff or Stuart Price can come up with a suitable banger!

Just like with Madonna’s previous singles, this release has been seriously let down by poor promotion. The CD singles should have been shipped yesterday, Monday, alongside the pre-orders. A vinyl release would also have made a huge difference to the chart performance. Unfortunately, it really feels like Madonna doesn’t care about the charts anymore. Which is a shame, because with the right promotion, this could easily have been a Top 10 debut. My personal prediction is that by Friday it will be somewhere around #21–30 and not even Top 20. It should have entered the Top 10 in its very first week. What a missed opportunity.

I don’t know why you need to feel like telling everyone this 😂 nobody asked!

The Reytons saying there going up aganist all the majors for number 1 and to help them stop one of the majors from taking it like they do every single week.

Has Flo fallen off then? Cuz they surely don't fit that criteria and now you're making people wanna root for Flo more then you now.

They are presumably referring to major labels here, as they are independent.

Yeah but in saying they take it every single week? Like Flo never have unlike them so an odd thing to say.

Clearly they're saying that major labels get the #1 every week (which they do, most of the time) - not anything to do with how many #1 album FLO have.

It's not about the artist, they're saying they're trying to block major labels from the #1 spot.

They should have been more specific then. Just saying majors can make it seen they are referring to major artists

I think Michael Jackson will be The Reytons' main competition for #1. Olivia Rodrigo is also likely to do at least 12k, so FLO would do very well to stay Top 3.
