More (enjoyable) new music get big please!Omg same. Its so annoying the state of the top 5 right now. RMI actually is the best song out of them

Following the release of their latest EP WILD on Friday, Animal, which peaked at Number 16 earlier this month, is threatening to break unfamiliar ground and enter the elite standings. The champagne is currently on ice but as we all know, anything can change in the next few days. Moreover Hootie Frutti, another track taken from the girl’s EP, may clinch this week’s highest new entry (12). Elsewhere, HUGEL’s Movin’ To The Sun featuring Imael Angel and Ultra Nate (3), Silva Bumpa’s On 2nite (6) and Tame Impala’s Loser (13) all eye fresh peaks. After the release of her third studio album, Phoebe Bridgers may see the title track Lost Weekend become the Californian’s debut Top 40 hit (24). Finally, and fresh from his Magazine Open Air show in London last night, British DJ Josh Baker begins his campaign once more for a maiden Top 40, as My Place featuring Poppy Baskomb starts the chart week at Number 26.
Sunday at 18:002 days does anyone know why My Place has been surging in the early mids the last few weeks just to stay out of the Top 40 by the end of the week - it doesn't seem very strong on iTunes or Amazon Music and those are the two main contributors to songs being higher early in the week?

Sunday at 18:032 days Poor Shakira stuck at number 2 for a fifth week. When was the last song to stay at number 2 for so long was it moves like jagger?

Shakira goes ACR next week. The rain finally coming makes Hugel's sales drop. Sam goes ACR the week after. That leaves an opening for Ella. BUT it depends on nothing else turning up in the next few weeks and Rein me In not avoiding ACR again. I had my eye on Tame Impala but he seems to be stabilising on Spotify for now.

The CDs were much cheaper and only sold 11000 with three versions - most people bought multiple copies so i'd say there might have been less than 4000 individuals purchasing the CDs.I haven't gone for it yet as £15 plus postage for a 7" is steep - if it was a 12" with more tracks I probably would buy it.

If it was cheaper/had more tracks I'd snap it up. A maxi single would be mega for this era.
