I new they had released 1 but even i was suprised they have already released practically half already when its only 12 tracks 🤣

It will still do very well albums wise im not sure anything will impact singles though

Dai Dai would have been a #1, it just got unlucky colliding with the week Rein Me In broke the record, so Sam campaigned more than he otherwise would have to keep the #1 spot and it got snatched out of Shakira's hands at the eleventh hour. Shakira's obviously not too worried about the UK market though, and it's surpassed everyone's expectations regardless, so I'm happy with how it's done.

With the <5k gap it’s had the past few weeks they could’ve easily taken it another week, even this week, if they did a Madonna-style cheap CD with instant shipping and some other incentive to buy! So it could’ve got it another week. I know Shakira doesn’t really care about the UK but they did launch that half-hearted last minute competition the week it looked close, you’d think they’d have been monitoring how close it’s been in subsequent weeks and done something but alas they haven’t. Saying this isn’t taking anything away from its performance, I just feel Shakira deserves some more chart success here, her stats here don’t really reflect how big she truly is.

Dai Dai in ACR next week without being #01 is the best news for me. Thanks Rein Me In ! 🫡🥳

But I'm the same as you, I love her voice but I've struggled to get into her music, bar the 2 or 3 songs of hers that I like.

I’ve read comments on Reddit saying that there are haters of her appearance and I find that completely unacceptable and very unfair! If you take the time to listen to all three singles from the new album, you’ll find that they’re incredibly addictive.
