I couldn't really say anything earlier but I totally called it as the winner from the first time I saw the final entry list, it just seemed like it would stick out really well in terms of style and sound. Also 23 voters out of 30 is such a good amount when you consider people can only vote for their favourite ten tracks!On the whole I'm really happy with how everything played out, I think we ended up with a good balance of discoveries doing well along with those more familiar songs - well done everyone! Hopefully nobody is too disappointed with how they did, and hopefully those of you who did finish in the top half are happy with how you performed ☺️Thank you everyone for taking part, really appreciated it. I did worry the theme would just facilitate a playlist of acoustic songs that could all merge into each other so I was really happy that we ended up with a list that had some real diversity in it. And whilst I know the theme won't have been for everyone, I've been really chuffed to see a fair few of you say it was your favourite contest to date in this series <3...and on that note, I'm done! I was just trying to send something that wasn't an obvious option for this contest and it's good to miss the bottom ten at least after how far it dropped at one point.
