It's SoundClash!

In this event we celebrate the one hit wonders of the 21st century so far.

In each round, two songs will go head to head to come out on top, with each credited artist only having a single UK Top 40 hit to their name. In each case, you're voting for your favourite song. The winning songs will then go into a grand collection of one hit wonders to be voted for once the opening rounds are complete.

These are the two songs going head to head this round;

Vanessa Amorosi – Absolutely Everybody {#7, 2000} 🇦🇺

Vanessa Amorosi is an Australian singer-songwriter who performed at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Her career spans pop, rock, soul and blues.

Ten Walls – Walking With Elephants {#6, 2014} 🇱🇹

Ten Walls is the stage name of Lithuanian electronic music producer and DJ Marijus Adomaitis.

You Decide!

Here is what we have had so far in this series of SoundClash;

Iglu & Hartly vs. ALMA

Vanessa by far <3

My No.1 song of 2000, Absolutely Everybody.

Vanessa Amorosi by the length of the Flemington straight.

Though granted she wasn't a One Hit Wonder in Australia. 😀

Vanessa! What an almighty banger.

THIS

Ten Walls comfortably, stunner of a track.

Also bucking the general consensus with a Ten Walls vote but do appreciate 'Absolutely Everybody' as well.

Ten Walls.

Absolutely everybody should be voting for Vanessa Amorosi!

Haven't heard 'Walking With Elephants' since around the time of release. I enjoyed it, but it's got nothing on 'Absolutely Everybody'

Vanessa Amorosi

Ten Walls for me soz!

Absolutely Vanessa

The joyous Absolutely Everybody trumps the trumpets for me.
