He won X factor, a fairly bad most of the time reality tv show that steals the xmas number 1 spot. Out of the 4 one has shown proper talent (Leona), the other 3 aren't awful but aren't great either

Ok, I should say national artists? I think the crown of Xmas no1 should belong to special song that would remind of particular year.

I would give it to Groove Armarda and & Mutya- Song For Mutya then this year for some reason, and last year Snow Patrol- Chasing Cars. If 2007 had been a really bad year though i would have given it to Soulja Boy- Crank That using the description you put
