Well done to them too, in 18 months they've come from being a small band who were playing in Blackpool, to headlining Glastonbury (and more festival headline slots next year im sure), and now getting a #1 single. Oh and Metallica should easily beat Glasveags to the #1 album spot i'd have thought. But I reckon they won't overtake them when the album was originally pencilled in for its release.

Would like to see the dolls climb and KT hold onto no1 but Cliff's sales are really strong. What's with this KoL song anyway? Haven't even heard it yet? :unsure:

I do think the Eavis family will have wide grins on their faces. Considering the amount of stick they got for going with Kings Of Leon and Jay Z I think it's paid off with Kings Of Leon becoming one of the biggest bands in the UK and Jay Z being one of the most popular headliners in recent times!

I am certainly not writing Cliff off and think there is still a huge chance that he could just possibly do it! My local Woolworths now have 2 display units displaying the CD single!
