Yes, Jennifer Hudson is out of Top 10, dont understand why it rised again.

1: It's a great song

2: Three members of her family died

By rights, it should be number one.

Just because members of family die, I dont really think that should mean that the song should climb. But, there will be quite a few who will just not have bought the single yet.

I just like to say, thanks to everyone, join us on a Sunday early evening, in our chart show thread around 4pm, its been another great week, especially scrolling through 17 pages to find all the requests, I'm going to have fun next week with the GA album and singles from Beyonce and Leona, roll on another 17 pages next week. :D
Yay! :w00t: Can't wait :cheer:

as i said earlier in this thread Snow patrol will not be #1.. they are repeating the general trend of indie/rock bands. They alwasys tail off towards the end... they were roughly 3k behind pink after Monday sales but after thursday sales they are 13k behind.

i can't see them being #1 even if the are going for strong promo, as pink is still going to sell a fair few over the weekend.

I heard that the promise is on 49.8k now with two days sales to go but i dont know the source.

That's true. I was going to post it eralier but Mikey/Martin shot me down for daring to provide some info last week, so I thought better of it :)

If it wasn't for the X Factor single GA would have had a second week

X Factor 'Hero' outselling Top 10 combined

The X Factor finalists' charity single 'Hero' is outselling the rest of the Top 10 combined, according to midweek sales figures.

The track is outselling the current number two, Girls Aloud's 'The Promise', by four to one and is on course to become one of the decade's biggest-selling singles.

The song has been number one all week on iTunes, Amazon and Play.Com's download chart.

Play.com's Martin Talbot commented: "'Hero' has proved to be our fastest selling download track ever with more than 700 tracks a minute being downloaded after the show. It has out sold our previous bestseller by more than ten times in its first day's trading and is still selling well."

Profits from the single will be divided between Help The Heroes and the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

 I was wondering what you were talking about then, so I had another look

It's not really tailed off at all. Pink sold 3k more on one day, if she sold 3k more again on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday it'd give her a 12k lead. You didn't realistically expect it to stay at 3k surely?

I can see girls aloud having at least 65,000 sales this week which is great,,i so want snow patrol to be number 1 but its highky unlikely now i do like pink and she deserves a number 1 album but hopefully the snow patrol albuk someday will go number 1,,sales in the singles and albums are great this week all round and also i hope celine dion stays top 5 in the albums
