December 2, 200817 yr Amazing first day sales for Take That  I just hope that everyone that has their orders cancelled by Zavvi or been unable to find it in Woolworths will go elsewhere to buy it
December 2, 200817 yr :( My WH Smiths isn't stocking Britney, Same Difference or other new releases apart from Take That and one more Classical group or something! That would be the Pipes and Drums and Military Band of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards They had an absolutely huge No. 1 hit in the 70s with a version of Amazing Grace. This new album was apparently recorded in a tent in Basra whilst they were out on military service. I'm stunned that WHSmith aren't stocking either Britney Spears or Same Difference! It's interesting to see just HOW much iTunes impacts the chart!
December 2, 200817 yr It's a shame Britney's album in the UK doesn't have 'Amnesia' on it that is brilliant I just hope her sales will stay consistent until the new year she deserves it
December 2, 200817 yr Author It's interesting to see just HOW much iTunes impacts the chart! The iTunes chart will be the one to watch in the future, if the physical market ever goes dead.

December 2, 200817 yr Make sure you get the Deluxe version. It's 100% worth the money. Phonography is simply the best song ever. It's a shame Britney's album in the UK doesn't have 'Amnesia' on it that is brilliant I just hope her sales will stay consistent until the new year she deserves it Amnesia and Phonography are both on the deluxe (physical) along with Rock Me In, and they are well worth the extra £, though haven't watched the DVD yet. High drama in this thread today!

December 2, 200817 yr Author Take That's album is a bit front loaded, with the way its selling it could easily do half a million in a week.

December 2, 200817 yr Reading this thread feels like some kinda ground hog day  Oasis  I personally wouldn't want to see Run top the chart, Edited December 2, 200817 yr by Sound-Bite
December 2, 200817 yr Reading this thread feels like some kinda ground hog day  Oasis  I personally wouldn't want to see Run top the chart in one way wouldnt want it to be #1 but on the other - yeah if its a quick turn over at number 1 with new entry replaceing new entry - will be just l;ike old days again when their were like 42 #1 per year...!!!
December 2, 200817 yr Is TT's price in ASDA just a one week special? Yes its meant to be but to be honest if the other Supermarkets keep their prices of the album low then so will Asda.
