Paddy Power have put odds of some bands to spilt next years. So here are the odds

Girls Aloud - 2-1

McFly - 9-4

Sugababes - 7-2

Westlife - 6-1

Boyzone - 8-1

Take That - 14-1

U2 - 25-1

Oasis - 33-1

 

personally I think that McFly and Sugababes will split

 

 

 

 

Well as Girls Aloud have just signed a new 3 album deal, its doubtful they'll split, could happen i guess, though they have a diary booked till September.

 

As Mcfly and Sugababes aren't shifting anything, i would have guessed that they would be the favourites. Chances are none of them will

Out of them i can only see maybe Boyzone/Oasis

definitely sugababes, or at least get a new member lol.......maybe davina...here she comes

Why would Oasis spilt they've been through far worst sales periods than this and have been a lot worse musically before. It's like saying Girls Aloud will spilt next year no reasoing behind it. Sorry for that rant :unsure:

I doubt any of em will.

I actually think it's quite likely that Sugababes will split in the later parts of 2009.

 

I do find it a bit strange that Girls Aloud are the favourites. But that's properly because of the press.

Why would the Sugababes split?

 

They've just resigned to Island, one low selling album doesn't mean they'll split.

 

The girls are happier than ever and vocally are on fire.

If we don't see an album by Wetlife near Xmas next year, I'd say they'd be leaving the world of music (oh the shame!)

 

And GA have probably been favourite for the past 6 years, it's quite tiresome now :( It seems the press have it in for them with split stories. You could have decorated the surface of the Moon with the amount of rubbish about splits and GA the press has published.

Oasis haven't even done too bad with this era... and they're only 2 singles through. I wouldn't say they'll split up next year AT ALL. A huge stadium tour and festival appearances are what 2009 will be like for Oasis.

 

I highly doubt any of those bands will split up tbh...

No chance, they've just signed a new three-album deal contract.

 

McFly - 9-4

Maybe.

 

Sugababes - 7-2

Doubtful.

 

Westlife - 6-1

No chance, they're releasing a new album late 2009.

 

Boyzone - 8-1

Doubtful, they've only got back together this year, and enjoying

sell-out concerts.

 

Take That - 14-1

No chance, they're riding high at the moment with a new album at

No.1 in the charts.

 

U2 - 25-1

No chance, new album for 2009.

 

Oasis - 33-1

No chance.

 

 

Boyzone... Their comeback wasnt half as big as anyone thought it would be. Their tour was average in terms of ticket sales and acclaim, plus their album and singles have/are performing at most averagly.

Sugababes won't split just all current members will leave and new ones will come under the same name :heehee:

Sugababes would by my personal favourites for a split.

I guess GA are up there because Cheryl is making such a name for herself now. She's fast becoming a household name without the other four.

Well Girls Aloud have a new album deal - so they wont

Take That wont as they have a tour and havent been back long

Westlife wont as they have a new album out this time next year

Mcfly wont - as they have only recently parted from there record company to do it alone - they will wanna stick with it and make some money before they go

 

I dont think any will split - but if I had to choose one it would be Sugababes after a dreadful album

I dont think any of them will split, I dont think there is a cat in hells chance that Girls Aloud will split.

McFly wont split, or at least it is doubtful. If they do go on to do poorly, which we'll only find out with the second album on their own as the Mail On Sunday deal did a lot to sales, they'll still keep trying with them being on their own record label now.

 

I doubt the Sugababes splitting either, with them taking a break and stuff.

 

For some reason I feel like next year, even though Girls Aloud are doing better than they have in previous years by miles, something might cause them to split.

 

But having said that, those 3 have been on the list for about 5 years now and still haven't budged!

but SPICE GIRLS signed a deal and never saw it out, just cause theyve been signed for 3 more album doesnt necceserliy mean theyll release 3 more.

 

id imagine one more album next year, then a split and Greatest, Greatest Hits!

But I can hope that Paul Weller will retire, coz as soon as he has, bye bye to Oasis :heehee:

Boyzone and Westlife strike me as the only likely ones. Maybe McFly too, but not until after at least another album, seeing as they've only just gotten creative freedom...
