Surely the whole top 5 barring IIWAB is based on downloads...Alexandra, Leona, Jeff wouldn't have an easily accessable CD, and there shouldnt be many copies of Listen about

Rather fantastic top five there. Listen definitely didn't deserve the meagre peak it got before, and am I right in thinking that this is the first time Hallelujah (by Jeff Buckley) has ever been top twenty? Should be a very deserved top three.

Why do you think its a cover ? I can't find any reference to it previously. It was written by Tony Gad and BC Jean and produced by Gad and Beyonce for her latest album. As far as I'm concerned that makes it original and not a cover ! What's your source of info Thor ?

And funny enough the Virgin Book of Hit Singles does not list any Beyonce's solo material, and its not under Destiny's Child, how odd. :blink:

(Well, I know Jeff's version's been hanging around on downloads since earlier this year, but you know what I mean) Does anyone know if this is the first time any track written by Leonard Cohen has ever charted in the UK?

Jennifer Warnes took "First We Take Manhattan" to #74 for 1 week in 1987. I don't think there are any others though!
