Hush Boy is hardly a BJ (ha!) classic :heehee: The entire Crazy Itch Radio album was one crushing disappointment.

Top 3 Basement Jaxx have to be Romeo, Rendez-Vu and Red Alert  It's something about the R songs! Explains why this is so good. :P

Those are my fave Basement Jaxx songs too!

Raindrops is amazing  I want it now!

Did it work for you?

It wouldn't work when I tried to use it for Basement Jaxx's Myspace! :(

Hmmm, first listen wasn't TOO keen, second listen I liked it more... Maybe it's a grower...

just tried it now and it worked ok for me.

Shockingly dire. It's a total sub-par rip-off of 'Singin' in the Rain'. It goes for the same sense of euphoria and even lyrical theme. It's over-produced, messy and just one big disappointment. Lots of ideas and some creative bits of production but it's all too much, overcookedness one could say. It won't be a big hit either I don't think....

I don't like it on first listen. Pretty dire and not original (IMO).

file2hd.com people! :cheer: Just don't forget to 'Agree with terms of etc etc...'

I hated Do Your Things, Where's Your Head At and You Don't Know Me. They were awful, this is much better imo

Oooh they're up there with my fave Jaxx tracks! As you may know, I'm a humongous fan of them (I've seen them live 3 times, have everything they've done pretty much etc etc). I like them best when they do their proper club choons, my personal favorite was "Get Me Off", but was considered to obscure to even make their Best Of album, even though it was Top 30.

Now let me have a listen to the track...

Oooh very accomplished! A sigh of relief, I'm taking to this on the first listen and this will get better with each listen.
Compared to bacon ice cream in Pitchfork's review. It's a good thing apparently :heehee: 8/10!
I'm surprised Ben :o Well I couldn't decide if you would or not. Not that I spent long thinking about it.. haha.
This is "Good Luck" part two. I think this will shape to be one of their biggest hits, it gets better with every listen!

I'm not sure they'll ever top the wondrousness of the 'Kish Kash' album.... which was their career highpoint. It's such a crying shame Joe Public think Basement Jaxx are nothing more than a novelty band with stuff like Remedy and the awful first album.

I like them being less 'carnival' and a little more 'out there'..... and the Jaxx's singles are usually far lower quality than their albums..... and anyone who hasn't, you REALLY must see the band live, both as performers and DJs to really 'get' what they're about. The recorded stuff simply doesn't do them justice.

This is a great summer single, though....and isn't the new artwork GORGEOUS?!
