Edited by FM11

between mid 2007-early 2008, I had only females at No.1 in my chart;

180) Fergie-Big Girls Don’t Cry (4 weeks at #1)

181) Robyn-With Every Heartbeat (5 weeks at #1)

182) Aly & AJ-Potential Break-Up Song (1 week at #1)

183) Delta Goodrem-In This Life (1 week at #1)

184) Colbie Caillat-Realize (3 weeks at #1)

185) Delta Goodrem-Believe Again (12 weeks at #1)

186) Kelly Rowland-Work (Freemasons Remix) (1 week at #1)

187) Robyn-Be Mine! (1 week at #1)

188) Sara Bareilles-Love Song (5 weeks at #1)

the most consecutive male No.1's in a row, is shockingly two!

If I do acts with just girls in a song I get 9 weeks.

Lily Allen - The Fear - 4 weeks

Lily Allen - Everyone's At It - 1 week

Kelly Clarkson - My Life Would Suck Without You - 1 week

The Saturdays - Just Can't Get Enough - 3 weeks

but if i count girls featuring in songs I get my last 18 number 1's in 25 weeks.

My longest male only run is 2 weeks with or without female inclusion.

It's quite shameful really.

All of my #1s so far have been male, and 've planned two #1s for the next two weeks (my charts are a week late) and they're both male too.

It will probably be a while before I have a female #1.

Actually, to be totally honest, my four top fives so far have featured only two acts containing at least one female (Crystal Fighters and Tinchy Stryder feat. Amelle Berrabah) but no totally female acts.

Edited by Supernova B-rye

My runs Surprisingly have no more than 3 consecutive female led singles at number 1  but the longest streak of number 1's that involves a female is 6. (T.I. & Rihanna)

[17] (19) Michelle Williams - We Break The Dawn - 11th September 2008 - 1st October 2008 - 3 Weeks

[18] (20) P!nk - So What - 2nd October 2008 - 8th October 2008 - 1 Week

[19] (21) Britney Spears - Womanizer - 9th October 2008 - 12th November 2008 - 5 Weeks {6 N-C Weeks}

[20] (22) T.I feat. Rihanna - Live Your Life - 13th November 2008 - 19th November 2008 - 1 Week

[---] (23) Britney Spears - Womanizer - 20th November 2008 - 26th November 2008 - 1 Week {6 N-C Weeks}

[21] (24) Leona Lewis - Run - 27th November 2008 - 31st December 2008 - 5 Weeks

08/06/09 / Soulja Boy Feat Sammie / Kiss Me Thru The Phone

15/06/09 / David Guetta Feat. Kelly Rowland / When Love Takes Over

22/06/09 / David Guetta Feat. Kelly Rowland / When Love Takes Over / 2

29/06/09 / JLS / Beat Again

That's the longest (so far) but then again, there's Kelly Rowland

I'm pretty sure the majority of my #1s have been male-led.

I remember YYYs being at #1 with Zero and I guess that would count as female due to Karen O being the lead singer.

Other than that, I can't think of any other females that have been #1 on my chart! :o

I haven't had an all male #1 in 62 weeks now

34 weeks without a male featuring

Strictly male only acts have had the better run of no. 1 hits in my chart on two seperate occasions:

In 2005 I had the following:

Ryan Cabrera - True (3 weeks) (02/04/05 = 16/04/05)

Razorlight - Somewhere Else (4 weeks) (23/04/05 = 14/05/05)

Jamiroquai - Feels Just Like It Should (3 weeks) (21/05/05 = 04/06/05)

2Pac featuring Elton John - Ghetto Gospel (5 weeks) (11/06/05 = 09/07/05)

**JonHawk - Collide (1 week) (16/07/05)

Paul Weller - From The Floorboards Up (1 week) (23/07/05)

Daniel Powter - Bad Day (1 week) (30/07/05)

**winner of CC Idol.

The following year I had the following:

The Feeling - Sewn (2 weeks) (18/03/06 = 25/03/06)

Franz Ferdinand - The Fallen (1 week) (01/04/06)

Will Young - Who Am I? (1 week) (08/04/06)

Gnarls Barkley - Crazy (4 weeks) (15/04/06 = 06/05/06)

The Raconteurs - Steady As She Goes (2 weeks) (13/05/06 = 20/05/06)

Primal Scream - Country Girl (2 weeks) (27/05/06 = 03/06/06)

The best run of no. 1 singles for female artists (or at least where the tracks had female vocals only):

In 2004 I had:

Girls Aloud - The Show (2 weeks) (12/06/04 = 19/06/04)

Jamelia - See It In A Boy’s Eyes (3 weeks) (26/06/04 = 10/07/04)

Shapeshifters - Lola’s Theme (2 weeks) (17/07/04 = 24/07/04)

Avril Lavigne - My Happy Ending (1 week) (31/07/04)

Natasha Bedingfield - These Words (1 week) (07/08/04)

...and 2007 I had:

Groove Armada featuring Mutya Buena - Song 4 Mutya (Out Of Control) (3 weeks) (21/07/07 = 04/08/07)

Kleerup featuring Robyn - With Every Heartbeat (5 weeks) (11/08/07 = 08/09/07)

Sugababes - About You Now (4 weeks) (15/09/07 = 06/10/07)

Mark Ronson featuring Amy Winehouse - Valerie (2 weeks) (13/10/07 = 20/10/07)

Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love (3 weeks) (27/10/07 = 10/11/07)

This could as well be named 'how many females have got a number one in your chart in a row?' and the result would've been the same :kink:

You've never had at least one male artist hit no. 1 in your personal chart?

between mid 2007-early 2008, I had only females at No.1 in my chart;

Make this three thanks to A1, Staygold and Salem Al Fakir recently this year!

My chart in early Jan, and females have been always been no.1 :D
