November 16, 201015 yr Has anyone got the "fastest to a million" information? I know two TT albums are among the current top five or so and it looks like Progress is going to join them.
November 16, 201015 yr Author i wanna know westlife's sale is really correct? 。。。 A little dickie bird from another site come across the info as far as I know its correct.
November 16, 201015 yr Has anyone got the "fastest to a million" information? I know two TT albums are among the current top five or so and it looks like Progress is going to join them. I'll answer my own question. It's in The Virgin book. 1 Oasis - Be Here Now (11 days) 2 Take That - The Circus (19 days) 3 Take That - Beautiful World (27 days) 4 Robson & Jerome - Robson & Jerome (28 days) 5 The Beatles - 1 (28 days)
November 16, 201015 yr :o at Take That sales! Bye Bye year end #1 album Gaga... :( AMAZING for Rihanna!
November 16, 201015 yr TT already over a third of the way to Oasis' record with 5 days still to go They need to sell around 92k per day for the rest of the week to break the record, I reckon they'll do it to be honest :o Do they have any more promo lined up for this week? EDIT: Of course they do, they're on CIN. Anything else though? As for the singles hopefully JLS stay #1, not an outstanding song but decent enough, it's for a good cause and it'll put them ahead of Alexandra Burke in terms of total #1s  Edited November 16, 201015 yr by Bray
November 16, 201015 yr I hope TT beat Oasis because BHN is seriously a poor album. I bet Robbie would be pleased to beat Oasis with there past rivalries.
November 16, 201015 yr I'm gonna say congrats to P!nk for managing no.4 with a greatest hits on such a strong week.

November 16, 201015 yr I would love to know how close Ellie is to Take That and JLS - I'll laugh if there is an upset on Sunday
November 16, 201015 yr be here now is far better than take that's new album which i must say is very poor.
November 16, 201015 yr Even more astounding is the fact that album sales are so dire this year, yet Take That have done MASSIVELY. Rihanna would surely get close to 100k by the week's end and by the order the albums are listed, I'm guessing P!nk is at #4 behind Springsteen. Hope she can snatch top 3 though I'm sure she'll be a more consistant seller over Christmas. I don't think TT will beat Oasis but 600k seems likely as I'd imagine they're very frontloaded. it just goes to show that people will still buy cds if there is a product they really want in store!!! :D
November 16, 201015 yr Phenomenal sales for Take That! :cheer: looks like this comeback will be largely successful as well after all :D as for the singles, Im OK with JLS going there as it is for a good cause after all :D even if the song isnt particularly strong- Take That could sell more this week with TF than they did last week
November 16, 201015 yr Not suprised how much the Take That album has been bought! My friend's Dad bought one for each woman in the family  Ok, I don't mean he bought 235 000 of them :P . My friend only liked the Flood off the album though. I have to be honest the other tracks don't sound like my sort of thing either.
November 16, 201015 yr Robson and Jerome beat The Beatles  the beatles did it due to the genuinely great pop music they wrote and produced whereas robson and jerome did it with cowells marketing machine!!
November 16, 201015 yr Astounding sales for take that - its good to see - hopefully it will do 600k by the weeks end and a it could even do 1.5 - 2 million by the end of 2010.it will surely be no1 for xmas now as well just like i thought it would - its sales will wane a little for the next 2 weeks but once we are in december they will rise again and on xmas week it will increse again.i always remember 'the circus' selling well then waning and rising again to something like 450k on xmas wekk in 2008!! here's hoping album sales will rise again now until the whole top 10 sells over 100k on xmas week like it does most years - one things for sure you can scrap the year to date charts for the next month!!!
November 16, 201015 yr Anyone think, that now with the inclusion of Beatles tracks working their way up the chart, that Single sales this week could hit the roof? Album and Single sales may reach (a one off) all time high? Or am I being too optimistic?
November 16, 201015 yr be here now is far better than take that's new album which i must say is very poor. 1) did you even give it a chance? did you listen to it? 2) It is NOT very poor at all. You may not like it but you cannot say it is very poor. 3) You are exaggerating. I prefer Progress you may prefer BHN but... this doesn't make it 10 times better -_- . I doubt there are a lot of people around here that have listened to both albums and will say the one of Oasis is FAR better. 4) If progress was not a threat to Oasis record would it be a little less poor instead? (80%chance Oasis will keep the record so try to be a bit more objective) There wouldn't be any comparison if it hadn't been for the record really. It was a completely different era for album sales back then.
November 16, 201015 yr be here now wasnt that great, just a result of the success of their 2 brill previous albums!!
