March 20, 201115 yr So Nicole has to be #1 now as there's no non-movers. Unless Reggie fecked up the stats of course...
March 20, 201115 yr Yes definitely remember them doing that with Ayo Technology It was weird with Ayo Technology aswell, because I remember they'd announce and "offensive content" warning, and they'd still censor out half the song! :drama: I remember one of my friends played me the song at school a while before it got popular (I hated it on first listen, I was like "What the...?"), and it was called Ayo Pornography. It's just funny how the artists attempted to censor it, and it was still like one of the least radio-friendly mainstream songs.
March 20, 201115 yr Glad that Adele has managed to hold off the Wanted. I wonder if she's held off Nicole too ? :o
March 20, 201115 yr So so happy the Wanted single is not a classic and Not No 1, it is true crap-hope it drops this week.
March 20, 201115 yr THE WANTED AT #03 With 82K Sales YEY, YEY, YEY!!!! :o Could Nicole sell 100k+. Something tells me she'll just miss out and sell around 94k while Adele sells 89k
March 20, 201115 yr Genuinely shocked that it only managed number 3, I'm sick to death of Adele and the over hyping of her career. Yes she can sing beautifully, but we don't need reminding every minute on the radio and we certainly don't need "Someone Like You" at number-one for a fifth consecutive week.
March 20, 201115 yr well, another Comic Relief official single not to make number 1, a place lower than the last one :o I suppose those are good sales though, I actually like it, its nothing special, but its nice- ah well, number 1 is obvious now :P Edited March 20, 201115 yr by chart wizard
March 20, 201115 yr Ooops sorry, I mixed up the BBH100 with the Mediatraffic World Chart http:// www.mediatraffic.de/ year-end-tracks.htm Ah, I see. Yeah, Love the Way You Lie ended up to #7 or #8 in the year-end charts for US, Canada and Europe, because they're all compiled by Billboard, and songs released later in the year are at a severe disadvantage in those charts. So Love the Way You Lie is probably the best-selling song of the decade in the world so far! :o
