August 21, 201114 yr Can't get my head around the fact Maroon 5 will even be top 40 let alone likely top 3. Never thought I'd see it happen again. Just a shame it'll fall short of no.1 because of one of the most boring tracks of the year.

I love it but now it's getting more and more overplayed and overrated. I'm fed up of SLY tbh. Although I think it's less overrated now. Some of the things people were saying in that initial hype when it went to #1 were ridiculous and so OTT. Like people had never heard a piano before. Space Bound. :wub:

August 21, 201114 yr Looking at that history you wouldn't think he was at his biggest last year :o Aside from Love The Way You Lie, I really don't think that he was at his biggest last year. He had much more of a media and general presence in the early 00s imo.

August 21, 201114 yr OK! This is the first time I've had Radio 1 on for the chart show in maybe a year (and my first time on this thread in months). Things seem to have changed for the better it seems - much less crap being talked by Reggie and playing more of the singles in the Top 40......
