You and I will probably be top 40 in a few weeks aswell.

I am starting to have doubts that You & I will ever go top 40. The video is out and its only just top 200 on iTunes. Could it be the first Gaga song to MISS the top 40 :o?

Bored of this song now. 'Judas' is still by far her best song.

No, but it could be the first Gaga single to miss the top 40 :P

I'd like Lady Gaga to take a 3-year hiatus before releasing her 3rd album.

HA! That might help actually, as she's tad overhyped. Maybe I'll be a casual fan of her once again. I remember myself almost looning in the second half of 2008, and where has that gone, I just don't know. :( Hype sometimes really puts me off an artist.

I'd agree with that.

Afternoon all :) Hopefully this is ''I Need A Dollar'' last week in the top 40..

It dropped 6 places last week, 7 places this week so if the pattern continues then you'll be right :P

To be honest, one thing that annoys me about some Lady Gaga fans if how they panic about music videos so much.

They released the You and I video FAR too early. It wasn't even top 1000 on iTunes when they released it. Music videos should be released when a song has already spent a few weeks in the top 40, ideally.

But I think it will still go top 40, easily. I think it will go top 10 infact. It's much better than most of her other songs, and if you look at other artists, they sometimes release music videos to songs months before the song peaks in the chart. I Need a Dollar is playing, for example. I'm sure that got its music video back in 2010 or something.

I'm sure she's gutted at losing you Arms...she only has millions of other fans to console her. I love her new direction - the album is a huge step forward in themes lyrically, depth, vocals and production. I guess some people would prefer to still be doing 'up in the club' type songs...that's what it seems like sometimes anyhow.

Oh and Davidson you need to stop getting confused with what you want to happen and what's going to happen.

The edge was climbing back up before The X Factor on itunes aswell...she always does well on weekends. Why is no one sick of Rihanna? If anything she's far more overexposed than gaga? Gaga's hardly in the gossip rags for one because she doesn't talk about her personal life.

Haha i hope so, I dont like it! :(

CCN??? I thought they'd got rid of it, since they are playing the whole top-40. Oh my gosh.

*I guess it's a very generic comment in regards of the chart show every week, but oh well. *

Fingers crossed!

delighted to still see this in the top 40! not getting old for me at all yet.

I was saying that kind of jokingly, but it could really help her career. Some of my favourite artists took 3 or 4 year breaks between albums (e.g. Black Eyed Peas and Eminem), and they've been massive since.

Some people claim those sort of artists have no "real" fanbases, and they'd be forgotten about if they took time out of music, but Boom Boom Pow and Crack a Bottle both got to #1 in the US. I think Lady Gaga could have similar sort of success if she did that.

Shame that Dev's 'In the Dark' only made a #37 debut. With it falling gradually on iTunes, I think it's safe to assume this'll be it's peak - unless radio airplay kicks in over the next few weeks. Irritating really, as it's far better than 'Bass Down Low'.

As for Loick Essien, the single was showing such potential with a chart run of (2-5-5-6-10-17-35), but an 18-place drop really has ruined it's chances of a nice chart run. I think I'm most shocked that 5 of its 7 weeks in the T40 were in the T10, at the time that was quite impressive considering it had a fair bit of competition and had peaked at #2.
