well I'm glad this hasn't done as well as some expected, the whole song is so limp and weak and the worst thing is it's attempting to be upbeat and dancey, yet it still sounds boring

Reggie's talking to her about Avicii. AWKWARD.

I love how she didn't mention about the court hearing for using the Avicii track without permission  .

All conveniently airbrushed from history

This is the 2nd time I've heard this song. I think it's quite nice.

Only the second time? I thought you can hear it twice every hour in the UK

Sorry, someone was annoying me on Facebook like when you said that, so sorry for being sharp :kink:, and yeah you were, still not a massive suprise, but I thought she would be #5 so you were right

 No worries :P

Is Pixie Lott a contender for #1 anyone think? He has said that 100 times! :heehee:

You do realise the whole thing was a publicity stunt to gain awareness for a rather sub-standard song and its producer, right?

That interview was horrific. She is as interesting as a rolling pin.

If Cowell is involved, it doesn't surprise me. -_-

She was riding the crest of the wave of her first era though, I don't see it happening. Of course it's not impossible but that was a long time ago.

Its not as if shes past it, she is still a big name, with a big fanbase. She could easily get another #1 with the right song. You are speaking in the year that J.Lo and Nicole Scherzinger have had #1's, so Leona having another #1 in comparison seems very likely.

No. :o This song really hasn't had much radio airplay, strangely. Pixie and Maroon 5 we're hearing every half hour atm.

This is absolutely embarrassing radio. I liked the days where they didn't have guests in the studio. And when having someone on the phone was actually interesting.
Great for The Sats! :w00t:
Like that even matters? This thread is a no spoiler zone in any capacity.

Is that really the case? Everyone here is addicted to the iTunes and midweek chart, and the thread even starts with which songs are likely to be a which positions anyway. Someone could post 'Really hope Collide is number 1 today' and someone would most likely reply 'are you mad? it's down to #9 on itunes and was only a few hundred copies ahead of #5 in the last set of midweeks'

I was meaning more she won't have the general success of her first era, i.e. 3 million album sales and of course the worldwide success that came with it, of course her having a #1 someday in the future is entirely possible.

They really have become famous for their lack of number 1...

(26) Rihanna-Cheers

this tune is based on a sample from Avril Lavigne "I'm With You" and yes that's Avril Lavigne in the video.

I really feel for The Sats they pulled out the stops for No 1 not sure why they can never sustain any type of lead on itunes.

It's a shame this couldn't have held the #2 position it had earlier in the week, but still done incredibly well.

This is my third favourite after 'Up' and 'Higher' (non Flo Rida version please)
