One of the first records I ever bought was the 12" of "Rapper's Delight" probably a long time before you were born. What I don't like are bad songs, and "Traktor" is a bad song. That's fine. But Traktor is a bad song...in your opinion, which is fine. But it's actually a VERY popular song. Lots of people love it, and those people that love it, and his other songs, will rave about him.
September 18, 201114 yr Nice to see Noel going top 20 on downloads only. This song has the potential to have a bit of longevity, depending on if Radio 1 playlists it or not (which they probably won't).

September 18, 201114 yr Ed Sheeran at #1 is fairly brilliant, given that it is an outstanding album. :wub: And those are good sales figures. I'm not feeling the Noel Gallagher song again. It's fairly standard Oasis, just like his previous one. And rather slow and boring.

I bit on the word "great" you used in the first post, I guess it's a widely overused word, I wouldn't apply it to more than maybe 50 songs over the years and maybe the same number of artists as well.
September 18, 201114 yr She might do. SFTTR will be released in the US in a few months. The best thing to do is leave Someone Like You in US since it's already doing well without being made a single. They could then make a video for SFTTR and use that as the next single there in the next few weeks and also release it here. Then it could go top 10 and Adele will have another US hit!

I think airplay killed TDOYAM for me, it was never off Radio 2 and Absolute radio which my parents listen to :( They're both not as good as some Oasis songs, Noel Gallagher sang The Importance Of... and Don't Look Back... two of the best Oasis songs ever :wub: :wub:
