There's no new releases to stop M5 next week, Florence + The Machine may go low top 10 but that's it IMO they'll definitely get #1 next week even if Sak Noel does stop them this week.

'Natural Disaster' is alrerady available off Example's album and is currently just outside the top 100.

This. I think it would've been quite interesting if it happened, and I think it would more of the general public interested in the charts, considering millions of people follow the X Factor, and they'd be interested to see who's selling the most, I'd expect.

 

But I agree, it's one of those things which you want to happen, but a lot of people would just spend 3 months whining about it which would be SO annoying, so it's probably not worth it, for that reason (and also what RabbitFurCoat said, in that it might mirror the voting too closely (although, then again, it might not).
