Exactly. Radio stations were completely confused by the On Air/On Sale releases that charted high and then dropped. Even The Saturdays, radio darlings, were avoided like the plague on radio after Notorious started dropping. Held back songs were far outperforming OA/OS releases by sort-of-established artists and so radio just supported them. So far OA/OS only seems to work for unknown artists because they don't have the high début and subsequent drop. Everyone needs to get on board or nobody can. The rise in "tributes" being put on iTunes is ridiculous.

Cannot believe Heart Skips A Beat has been reduced to 59p! Its done so well already, and its still top 10, brilliant decision by the label. Now for Collide please! (#28 (#26 with two versions of the same song above it I Wont Let You Go and Loca People)).

She Ain't You probably won't even dent the top 40. It's not as commercial as the other three singles and the video is rubbish.

Maroon 5 have halted again, they've very slightly decreased from earlier (less than 1%). So GGD's #1 is safe for a bit longer but I suspect Maroon 5 will overtake at some point tomorrow.

I hope it does. Such a good song! Although I agree that it's not as commercial as his other singles (although moreso than Look At Me Now, since She Ain't You actually has a melody in the vocals, a pre-requisite if you want to chart well in the UK unfortunately :lol:).

 

I hope it can get at least top 20, but I won't get my hopes up. It's been in the top 1000 on iTunes for the past 3 months now, so that's a good sign.
