I really don't understand why they're holding back We Found Love anyway - it makes no sense. Beyoncé did OK with OA/OS even though Run The World was marmite, GaGa did really well with Born This Way and to a lesser extent, Judas. Britney flopped but that's because she didn't promote and HIAM had a disaster of a campaign. Rihanna is the only major star who isn't doing OA/OS and considering she's the biggest of the four in the UK it's ridiculous that she's sacrificing thousands of sales when she would probably get to #1 in the end anyway. URGH at this single/album campaign.

We all know what will happen. Maroon 5 will be looking set for no.1 (If Sak Noel doesn't decrease anyway) and then Rihanna's record label will suddenly realise how well the fakes are doing and release WFL next week and that will go to no.1. 2007 part 2.

If Sak Noel DOESN'T decrease? :P

Yes, Rihanna could decide to release midweek and stop Maroon 5 yet again. Its worse than The Sats and Flo Rida

I'm TIRED :P

Tbh the label would be crazy not to release WFL on Sunday, or at least mid-week. It'll be a quiet week with (likely) MLJ just getting to the top by default, so she'll easily snatch it. If they leave it until November, I think she'll miss number 1 what with the competition plus the sales lost from fake versions.

I bet they're waiting until X-Factor live shows start so she can promote it there.

UGH @ LMFAO about to go top ten. :puke2:

Britney really didn't do well with OA/OS though.. HIAM could have been massive with better promo.

Wonder how well 4th single criminal will do?

Top 75 if we're lucky.

I think Criminal will definitely go top 200.

Me too. As much as I dislike it and would like to see MLJ there, It will be good to end the run of one week wonders.

'with better promo' being the key to this post. Britney's 'flop' had nothing to do with being OA/OS, people will only buy a song that they know exists, and if she didn't get the relevant airplay/promo spots, then she's just simply not gonna sell as well. Frontloaded or not...

Lol really? It's clearly a #1 smash waiting to happen...

Well, we both agree that it'll go top 200 then. :kink:

I think it will make top 10 in the US though. As you said in your other post, her songs get promoted there a lot on the radio, so they do well there.

Britney's never going to have a hit during this era in this country. She turned down the opportunity to perform on the X-Factor for whatever f***ed up reason.

She's probably seen the way people in this country treat people like Cheryl Cole for lip-syncing, so she's wisely decided not to put herself through that I guess. :( I would've done the same really. I'd perform in a country where I'd be nicely treated.

I haven't forgotten how nastily the right-wing media treated her when she performed Womanizer on X Factor a couple of years ago.

They were exactly right to do so, did you even watch that performance? It was a shambles.
