I would be worried with Kelly and Tulisa's album given how much exposure and promotion they both have ---- NOT making Top 40 is bad.

 

At least people will stop saying Cheryl being a judge on X Factor was the reason why she had to #1 albums. That's something Dannii, Kelly and Tulisa have yet to do on the back of the show.

Second, Rihanna, never said anything about stripping, and she did not start her career to strip for #1. :rolleyes: She has been around for many years, and is playing this image now, and you know that.

I do know there's various things but I thought best not to post it here. As I said before we'll get shut down. It wasn't nice though. Let's just say he's made comments in interviews and made fun of Joe on National TV to make himself look better. Very strange as Joe is doing well now.

Yeah :( I was a bit annoyed at first but hey I'm just trying to concentrate on Joe.

I have been complaining about wrong management in certain cases and I see a Joe-fan is dong this too now. But the truth is , it IS A MAJOR quality for an artist to be able to sell himself and his work not only straight to the public but also to the media, advertisers , tv shows, magazines or whatever he needs to support his work. The media have their favourite ones yes, but artists CAN break these walls if they are skilled enough. Everyone in the showbiz is in for money. If you look like a fast horse they will bet some money and time on you.

 

What I cannot explain is the huge success of "We Found Love". Rihanna has released so many better songs and this is the most successful chartwise? :o

It was on TV. It's really is telling what type of person Olly is. It was disgusting and really surprised Olly did this because I thought they were friends. Really showed his true colors and what type of "friend" he is.

It was all over Twitter on Saturday morning.

Saying that though, I haven't seen any promotion for Joes new album and it looks like he's gonna sell the same as his last albums first week sales, so although he's not top ten (he's at #12) he's doing just fine.

 

Yeah Joe is doing fine, sales are high in those positions atm. I saw a long ad for his album primetime ITV on Sunday night though, not cheap.

 

I think Rebecca is going to shock a lot of us next week. While I think Amy has guaranteed herself the Number 1, I think with all the pre-orders, critical praise and Radio 2 support we might see Rebecca score herself a big Number 2 album.

 

Dunno, Olly's album isn't exactly gonna drop from the face of the earth judging by his consistent sales last year and Buble will probably only increase, when's his tv special?

Could i ask what position Take That and Kylie are at please??

 

Wow what a week, i hav eto say im slightly disapointed Take That are not top 5, i know its a live album and its doing well for what it is plus the live dvd has sold in huge numbers and is continuing to do so.

 

Likewise im disapointed with Kylie, i also thought it would chart in the dvd chart, but seeing its now charting in the albums i hope she can stay top 40 but i dont think she will as hardcore fans would have bought it asap.

 

I hope Olly stays number 1 but its likely Buble will overtake, still though Olly will have very respectable sales and his second album looks on course to repeat the success of his debut plus he is still selling strongly in the singles chart.

 

Joe McElderry sales wise is on par with his classic album so he is doing ok, i just think they should have re released classic as such with a bonus christmas disc as i thinik that would have oushed sales even further, maybe im wrong but its what i thought since i first heard he was releasing his classic christmas album.

 

I thought N Dubz and Kelly Rowland would be to p40 although i expected no more although N Dubz albums have all done reasonably well to date and that mixed dappy havin a solo number 1 single and Tulisa on X factor i thought it would be enough to get them top 40.

 

Still nice full of action week in both charts and sales looking good which always makes the chart more interesting.
