Its top version was never really that high on iTunes - it's mainly due to a steady decline in that version, and the lower version/s dropping out of the iTunes top 100 completely. Pleased to see Gotye enter. It took a few listens to grow, but I really love it now :wub:
January 15, 201214 yr Strange how itunes disguises the fact that songs arent as high as you think - though Gotye would have been top 35 easily enough....not looking good for m83,Pro Green and a few others!! STIUTK by Gotye is immense though, watch the video its so unique like the song...hope this climbs to no1 - would symbolise the new year for me!!

It was just a random guess on my part lol....but i thought it had lower corporation tax or something...sorry. Ireland and Netherlands have lower corporation tax than the UK so record companies might try to exploit that. As I recall, U2 moved their publishing company because of the removal of a tax break that was supposed to benefit smaller companies.
