March 11, 201214 yr I assume Marcus will be #10. :( At least he would have tied with the previous year's XF runner-up with his debut single peak. Edited March 11, 201214 yr by SceneofSIXCrimes
March 11, 201214 yr The rundown is out of sync, they had acts like Lana Del Rey as a new entry
March 11, 201214 yr I read an interview with Jessie a few days ago where she was moaning about being "spotted" whilst out in public. Apparently all she wants is to go to the shops like a normal person and not be hassled. Wtf does she expect?! I saw a picture of Jessie J the other day, and she looked just like Etta Bond!! :o

March 11, 201214 yr Hearing Nicki do songs like this makes me sad. Lil Kim has the potential to make a MASSIVE comeback now imo.
March 11, 201214 yr Are they actually playing the video out on the radio? I'm not watching the live stuff but half these sounds are only on the video of Turn Me On, I swear?
March 11, 201214 yr Are they actually playing the video out on the radio? I'm not watching the live stuff but half these sounds are only on the video of Turn Me On, I swear? Yeah, I guess so. At least it means they can't skip her rap bridge this time.
March 11, 201214 yr Hearing Nicki do songs like this makes me sad. Why? She's proving how versatile she is. I love like 90% of her songs and they're all so different
March 11, 201214 yr They didn't cut out the rap :cheer: Now is it too much to ask for them to keep the breakdowns intact in Starships?

March 11, 201214 yr Phew. This wouldn't be offensive were it not a cover of such an iconic cover, it's hardly awful but the entire concept of it just makes me angry.
March 11, 201214 yr Why? She's proving how versatile she is. I love like 90% of her songs and they're all so different  I don't know. The truth is, like 99% of the songs she's done are hip hop songs, but since all her biggest hits are all pop songs, I can see her just abandoning the genre eventually (hence why Lil Kim can come back and steal Nicki's niche back). She acts like she wants to become a pop icon like Madonna now. She's going to fail imo.
March 11, 201214 yr You want to make a statement Marcus? That you are a cover artist, who can't even come up with their own twist on the song, so copy some reasonably unknown artists hard work at making the song fit their style and pass it off as your own? Weldone Marcus
March 11, 201214 yr Ignoring the cover of a cover idea, I think he sounds quite good on this. Looking forward to new material.
